Pregnancy & Parenting - 8 December 2006

I've noticed a lot of people who are very much against daycare but then years later they send thier children off to public school. I guess I just don't understand the difference. I also don't understand why people are so rude working mothers who have no other choice then to send their child to daycare. Any Opinions?

I'm five weeks pregnant and my next appoitment is on the 23 this month which will make me seven weeks. Will my doctor able to hear the heartbeat of my baby by that time? I'm scared of having miscarriage since I don't have that much pregnancy symptoms beside missed period and sensitive nipples which comes and goes... please......answer me.. experiences would be great... I WANT MY BABY SO BADLY!!!!

He keeps on talking back to teacher in day care only, say bad words, hits kids and he gets angery really fast, me and his dad are not together, he see him every ohter weekend and my ex has a new girlfriend with 3 kids that he learns bad words from...what should I do?

The only way I will have a child is by adopting ......And will never ever have a pregnancy by choice..... But lets say hypothetically speaking I did want to give birth to my own big 10lbs baby I would most defiantly have a C-section

Also should c-sections be covered by insurance....just like natural birth

I am 1 1/2 cm dilated and 50% effaced and my midwife has given me 5-w to get things going. I have been taking it for 2 weeks now and yesterday i went to the doctor and she tried to strip my membranes but she could not really reach it. She did 2 times and she stretched my cervix and she did a little sweeping but couldnt really get in there. Well how long do you think it will be before i go into labor?

I breastfeed my 7 1/2 mo old daughter.....I have to get my wisdom teeth pulled, the doc said i will have to pump and freeze but my daughter refuses to take a bottle no matter whats in it and she will only take her sippy cup when theres juice in it. But if i member correctly after i had my C-section i breastfeed right afterwards and i was on percacete the same meds they are giving me for my teeth to be pulled....so whats the deal should i breastfeed anyways? i dont think i have a choice!! ( I know my grammer is bad!! thanx anyways)

I had unprotected sex Nov 19 my period came on Nov 22 . It normally comes on on the 1st but it didnt bc it came earlier which isnt normal for me. The period I recieved came on then went off but came back on it spoted to but didnt last long. Some days Im tired & I have noticed I eat alot lately . I also have a headache like everyday man it's crazy.My granny says I eat to much & she asked me I said no. The guy I was with even asked me bc I felt sick when we was riding down a few hills. I get cramps often since then.When I eat I feel like I have to vomit but nothing comes up . Could I be pregnant? I was thinking it could be stress but at this point Im not sure. I can't really tell until my next cycle which is the end of this month.How is possible that Im pregnant I even took a at home test & it showed that I wasnt yet I have all these syptoms.I have explained this situation the best way I know how....Can someone please help me!!!!!

I am on birthcontrol Microgynon 30 and had to take antibiotics cipro for a few days. We used double protection during the intake of the medication, but not thereafter. Can my birthcontrol been affected longer by it and ave the chance for me being pregnant?

I am pregnant with my second child, and im having trouble finding work. nobody seems to want to hire me, so i am wondering if anyone knows anywhere i can go or call to get help with money to buy a crib, and other baby necessities. The father isnt involved and my mother who wants to help, cant because of money issues. I have tried goodwill, savers, and those kinds of stores that take the donations but i cant ever find any of the things i need there. just a bassinet, but the baby will grow out of it by 6 weeks or so.

I accidently leaned into a hot pan and singed the skin on my belly, it is a little bit bigger than a quarter in size. I t really hurts and is burning my first reaction was to put ice on it but then i was worried that it would make the baby cold but the burn is making scared i burned the baby too. Am i being crazy for worrying? It was the same spot she has been kicking all day. I am 27 weeks prgnant. I did call the dr cause this is my first baby but he has not called back yet so any input to help me would be great. Thanks.

since last night when i wipe there is a pink coloring it does not leak on to my underwear or anything but i had it just for little bit last night then it went away and now today it is back i think i might be spotting im 6-7 weeks preg has anyone ever experienced this and how long did it last i have no pain wut so ever just a little pink please help me im only 16 and not sure what to do i allready called the hospital and the lady said she didnt know what it was of course this hospital is known for bad service

This is a really stupid question,but i'm paranoid. My cousin brings her b/f to my grandma's house to stay for a couple of nights. I don't like the fact that some guy I just met is staying in the same house I am and sleeping there too. So if he tried to do anything while I was sleeping, would I wake up ,but I am a heavy sleeper? If he did do something without me knowing it ,could i get pregnant?

My boyfriend and I were messing around like a week and a half ago. We didn't have sex, but we were rubbing ourselves against each other and he thought it slipped in. I didn't think so, but I wasn't sure because I thought it would hurt if he did. He also said he leaked a little, but doesn't know if it was on me or in me (if he was even in me). So, my period was supposed to start 3 days ago and it hasn't. Usually it isn't this late. Could I be pregnant? I really don't think so, but need some advice. Basically i am now 20 weeks pregnant with my first child. I had my dating scan at 12 weeks - then had a blood test at 16 weeks, then today had my 20 week abnormalty scan..they told me today they dont need to see me again until y 36th week, to check the placenta is in the right place?- apart from that i have had no other visits, seen no midwife,havent been informed of any birth plans, antental or anything? surely this isnt right? Im phoning the doctors on monday just to see if theres something im missing,m but they just havent gave me any info or help at all! not very good for a first time single mum!!! any help out there people!! cheers xxx lisa xxx (23f uk)
