About 3 years ago, i got pregnant for the first time, i was very excited and couldn't wait to have the baby, unfortunatly i miscaried before i could even hear the heart beat, i had to tell everyone that i was no longer pregnant and that really sucked. About a year later i got pregnant again, and i didn't tell anyone except my husband for 3 months. I now have a happy almost 2 year old. I am now pregnant again and I found out three days ago. We have told our parents, but i am afraid that now something will happen, because i am sick this time like i was the first time i was pregnant,. We are so happy and excited that we want to share our great news with everyone, but we don 't know when it will be safe, we just want to know when the chances of miscariage decreases. Please help, cuz I am worried!

Miscarriage is most common in the first trimester. Hopefully, you will not have to experience this again and best of luck to you and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

P.S. A nurse once told me that vacuuming was bad. Something about the specific way you move. I have never heard anyone else say that but I didn't let my wife near the Hoover for 9 months. Needless to say it was fine with her....lol.

They can occur at ANY time, BUT Miscarriages are MOST common within the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. Once you get past the 12 week mark, chances of having one drop dramatically.

I think all pregnant women worry about this.

The best advice I've ever had was; Think Positive and Be Happy.

There is no point in worrying about something you cannot control.

I'm 2 months along and still worry deeply about miscarriage - I can't spend all my time worrying, I have to be happy for my baby!

Congradulations!! My only advice for you to take it very easy. Dont stand-up for a long time. Dont pick-up heavy things, even your child. Be very careful for the first 4 months. Dont use any cleaning chemicals. Sleep on your left side. Go ahead and tell eveyone put your faith in God and your baby will be secured in your womb. Good luck.....

It is most common in the first Tri-mester (12 weeks) but not uncommon anytime before 20 weeks....most people after that point can't hide it anymore because they start to show...good luck and congrats!!

The first three months are the most dangerous. Take it easy, don´t carry heavy things and relax.

Congratulations and god bless.

12 weeks is usually what women pray to come and go. That is when it is most common, the first 12 weeks.
