I don't think you should want to have a baby with someone, but not want to marry them. Having a baby with someone is something special! It's something you will both have to do together! I don't think it's a good idea!

tell them straight up and tell them in the beginning. I don't want to be married and I want a baby. If they say they want to be married, you say..next! Gosh I never thought I would be married at 20. I wanted to have children once I turned 26. I met the right man, maybe you haven't done the same.

I would never want to have a baby with someone if I wasn't going to marry them. Children need fathers, that's what is wrong with this world... mothers raising kids without good fathers as role models. Even if the father would be in the child's life, it makes it difficult if you were to marry someone else later on. The child's father will always be in your life even if they or you marry someone else and then the situation gets difficult. It is better if you wait to have a child with someone you'd like to marry. Better yet, marry them first and then decide a to bring a child into the world into a happy, healthy functioning home.

Well if you are ready to have a child but not to marry you shouldnt do it. A child has to be with their parents together before you have a child you should be ready to be married, for a bond.Marrage is the first step in your lives then comes the child. Get settled spend some time married and then comes the child.

Why don't you want to marry this person? It seems absolutely ridiculous to create a baby with someone who you do not want to commit yourself to long term. Girl, just pray on it and in the mean while, don't you dare gap your legs and give up the nookie if you not trying to establish a union with the father of your baby. Stay blessed!

People get so bent when folks have kids out of wedlock. I get a lot of c**p for it all the time (especially on here). But whatever! Over half of all marriages end in divorce anyway, so how can people act as though their commitment means anything more than mine? At least I didn't sign a legal contract after saying "till death do us part" and then reneg...

You shouldn't have a baby with someone you're not married to. Just because it's becoming more normal to do that doesn't make it right.

Get some help. If you make a foolish decision like that it will ruin your childs life. If you really love your future child you'll give it the best start that you can.
