If you have a DHS office in your area, you may qualify to get it free. Its called Soonercare/Medicaid. Your child would have it until they turn 5 years old. But it all depends on where you live and if it is available in your area. Good luck.

that depends on where you live and what the benefits are that you're buying. For a single contract (not a family) and not as a member of an employer group, you could expect a health insurance premium of about $100+ US per month. This would have some prescription benefit.

It depends where you live. If you make less then a certin amount of money monthy, you can get medical for the baby for free. You should look into it. Because with all the appointments that the baby will have during the first year, it will all add up. GL on finding one!
