ask her peditrican. Babies need a lot of good food. Only your doctor can judge if your baby's weight is right. Don't be afraid to ask questions, They would rather you ask then risk health by remaiming quiet. The only dumb question is one not asked!

Mabye the formula is not filling her up? I had the same problem with formula not filling up my baby and I had to change it because she wasnt gaining weight. I know of another person who had the same problem with the same formula it was goodstart. I would mabye try a different formula and if she eats as much then she could be going through a growth spurt of just a very hungry baby. Either way I would feed on demand because she knows what her body wants. The only thing I might suggest is spacing her feedings out a bit more, she might be eating out of boredom, you could try a soother and only feed her every 3-4 hours instead because then she might eat because she is really hungry either way it probably just takes some experimenting.
I have papers from the doctors and they say a baby at 2 months old should only be eating about 3-4 ounces at every feeding. But because she weighs 12.4 oz then its probably good for her to eat 4-6 at least! That is the norm. btw my baby weighs 11lbs 15 ounces and eats 5-6 oz every three to four hours which is normal for her weight..also she eats that much before bed but sleeps nine hours through the night.

She should be eating at least 6 oz per feeding. Is she at a good weight? My daughter wasn't that big until she was about 3 months. None the less she should be eating a 1/2 oz for every lb. she weighs.

At this age they should be consuming 36-48 oz of formula/breast milk every 24 hours, so you are perfect in what the baby is eating now. Since she is eating on the high end of the spectrum then I would guess she is experiencing a growth spurt, and with every growth spurt the child will eat more. When the growth spurt is done, then the feedings will lesson in amount.

My baby which is now a hefty 22 lbs. 8 month old has been drinking atleast a 6 oz bottle since he was born. Our doctor hasn't any concerns about his weight and actually he's right where he should be! So dont worry about it.

My son also 2 months eats every 1&1/2-2 hours
He eats 8 oz. -13 oz. He is not over weight either. The cutie weighs 15 lbs.All babies eat and grow at their own pace. Your doctor would tell you if anything was wrong. We got an "ok" from our doctor.

my doctor told me how to find out how much they should be eating in a 24 hrs is you take their weight and xs it by 2.5 and then thats how much they should eat
so your baby should eat 31 oz in 24 hrs..and if u feed her every 4 hrs she should be eating about 8 ounces

NO, please ask this question to your pediatrician because every one is different. In my experience(nanny for 15 years, mother of 2) Feed the child until they stop eating and again when they show signs of hunger, repeat.
