Did she just get done with a growth spurt, probably so, this is about the age they have many. After a growth spurt , she is just does not need as much, according to what I could make out, she is taking in 15 oz a day, this is about half of what she should be eating. So she is either sick, some colds are not clearly evident so take a close look at her stools, if they are black or runny then she has a cold and you need to push fluids, especially pedilyte, if they are of normal brown color, then she has just finished with a growth spurt and does not really want the food. Either way be sure to consult a pediatrician, maybe even a different one, just to be sure. Some just do not take the time they should with each case.

maybe she doesn't take too well to the milk..she's already almost 6 months old, and she's beginning to take less than at birth..perhaps she's still full? About that soft spot and dehydration...give her some pedialyte or just some water...see how she takes onto that...I was a huge worrier about the soft spot sinking in, and would always check on my children's all the time...what I did when it was caving in was while feeding, hold the child in your arms while tilting her upside down...the pressure from her sucking and being upside down-ish will raise the spot...or, I'd put my finger in her mouth, holding her upside down-ish (not completely upside down) and rub the top part of her mouth back and forth while putting a little pressure...that'll raise it up also...sounds weird, i know...but having 3 kids, and not wanting to get hospital bills, and knowing older ladies who give "wife's tales"...it did help out a great deal :)....another sign telling you that she's dehydrated is by her eyes...if they're sinking in...you'll know..do talk to your pediatrician to see if she's not liking her milk..maybe he'll change it :)

I would take her to the hospital, or at least prompt care. I've been taking care of children for 5 years and have 7 siblings and have never heard of behavior like that before.

Sounds like a growth spurt. If she's like this for what you feel is a long period of time, call your doctor.
