Sometimes it can take six months to a year to fall pregnant, especially after stopping birth control methods like the Pill. Keep in mind that the average couple also averages six months to one year before they are able to concieve, so you are not the only one going through this.

Someone mentioned in an earlier post that it is best to relax and not sit around waiting for it to happen. Well I agree! The stress associated with the aniticipation of a pregnancy can affect your chances of concieving considerably.

Just remember if you are meant to get pregnant, you will get pregnant, but only when your body is ready.

I am currently 38 weeks pregnant and it took 5 months for me to concieve after stopping my birth control (The Pill), and in comparison to all of our friends I was pregnant in record time! (One of our friends recently fell pregnant naturally after over 12 months of trying to concieve)

If after a few more months you are still not pregnant and becoming more anxious, the best thing I can recommend is getting some tests done to put your mind at ease.

Hope I could help - and don't forget, it will happen when your body is ready for it to happen!

GOOD LUCK!

Right for all those who are trying please read this. I have a curved cervix and my husband has a low sperm count, yet with these methods we have had three children and another on the way. Work out the middle date of you r cycle, usually about 12-14 days after the last day of your period. Have sex every chance you get from about five days before and 5 days after this date. Also while having sex put a pillow under your pelvis and try to orgasm at the same time (quite difficult) as the muscle spasms help the sperm enter the cervix. After having sex stay with your legs and pelvis elevated for as long as humanly possible. I used to put a pillow under my pelvis and my legs up the wall, sometimes falling asleep like that. We have our problems but with doing this we have caught pregnant first time every time. Good luck I'm sure it will happen one way or another, and try not to stress as this will affect your fertility as well.

I bought a saliva tester called "Maybe Mom" at the Walgreens by my house. It shows a fern like pattern when you are ovulating. Salt crystalizes in your saliva and makes that design. I had been trying for a year to get pregnant. One month after I bought it &used it I was pregnant. I saw the fern pattern on the mini microscope , did the deed and waited.( Laying down). My best friend has as well and is successfully pregnant. She is 6 months along. I now have a 2 months old baby boy. Good luck.

Hello- I can tell you a fast and easy way to get pregnant.
I have helped alot of people so far so please trust me on this. You need to go out and buy an Ovulation Kit called
FIRST RESPONSE. What this kit really does it tests your urine the very first thing in the morning and when it turns
BLUE then you can have a baby. It doesn't give you gender it gives you a baby. It really works as I used it as my time clock was ticking.
I have 3 boys to prove it. So Good Luck.

it took a year for me being healthy and nothing wrong, sometimes you can just wish too hard, just relax and enjoy your partner, make sure you both dont drink, smoke and eat healthily. also if you are under or over weight it takes longer to concieve. good luck tho hun, keep trying and dont get downhearted cz this happens to so many people.you never know what santa will bring you for christmas this year... xX

After sex, hold your knees up to your chest for 10 minutes. This i hear is supposed to increase the probability of conceiving.

Get a fertlity check of your partner.
Check for any vaginal infection.
Don't use just any lubricant. Try to use a water based one> even lubricants give problems.
If nothing works, run an FSH menupause test and see if you have problem.

Actually I found doggy style good as my wife conceived both our children this way. It gives you deeper penetration. Have fun and good luck!
