JUST WAIT TILL THE DATE OF DELIVERY
EVEN IF YOU TELL HIM..
HE WILL BE HAPPY ANYWAY....THE FACT THAT YOU BOTH LOVE EACH OTHER SO MUCH IS ENOUGH
IT IS RARE IN TODAY'S WORLD
THAT IS ONE LUCKY BABY

GOOD LUCK & CONGRATULATIONS!

If he has said he wants to wait until the baby comes out, I definitely would not recommend the bib idea. But then it depends on what you think your partners reaction would be, as I don't know what he is like.

The first thing I would do is bring the matter up with your partner and tell him you would really like to find out what the baby is, as it is just as much of a surprise now as it is to find out when the baby is born. If he still doesn't agree, let him know that you intend to find out regardless of what he intends to do, and that he can wait until the baby is born to find out.

Don't forget it's your pregnancy too so you do have some choices!

Enjoy and Good Luck!

This is totally up to you to decide. I am 19 weeks pregnant and will be seeing my doctor for my first sonogram on Dec 19th and should be able to see the baby's gender.

I found out that my daughter was a girl with my first pregnancy via sonogram. I think it's fun to know ahead of time and can't imagine why anyone would prefer to wait. Especially when baby clothes are so obviously girlish and boyish nowadays and they don't have much unisex baby clothes as they did in the days of old (when our mothers were expecting). I would go for it if you want to. Believe me, your husband might say he doesn't want to know yet but when the time comes, he'll be so curious and amazed by it that he'll have to know. That's how my husband reacted the first time! He was in love when he saw the sonogram of our daughter sucking her tiny fingers. Don't worry or stress, things will come naturally and as long as the baby is healthy that is all that matters.

He might change his mind when he gets in there, or you could have him go out of the room and the doctor could tell just you. I saw a couple on TLC's A Baby Story where everyone but the dad knew. Or you could not find out at all and it just be a surprise to everyone.

Whatever happens, if you find out and he doesn't, don't ruin it for him by springing it on him at Christmas. If he's really set on being surprised, he'll probably resent you for ruining it.

We found out as soon as possible, and so did my sister in law. We had a boy and she a girl. A couple I know had terrible trouble getting pregnant and when she did, they knew it would be their only baby, so they didn't find out. They picked a unisex first name (Morgan) and two middle name options, one very feminine, one very masculine.

For my next baby(I know I will have more), I will find out. If it is a girl, any babies after that I want to be surprises because I will already have girl and boy things at home. If it is another boy, I will continue to find out the sex until I have a girl or until we stop having kids, whatever comes first.

We didn't find out the sex for both of our children. My feeling is that there are very few surprises in life that can't be spoiled and your baby's sex is one of them. Also, it's not like you can change what you are having once you're pregnant. There are tons of cute yellow & green clothes out there and an equal amount of neutral nursery decors so it's not like you'll have to run out and buy everything right after the baby's born if you don't know it's sex beforehand. Just wait. Having a baby is the greatest experience ever and not knowing the sex of your child beforehand won't change that.

P.S. I had two girls!

I always thought what a better surprise to find out the sex when the baby is born. You'll never ever get this type of surprise in your life like finding out if it's a little boy or girl.

As for your husband, talk with him and try to come to a mutual agreement - because you don't want to keep secrets and he doesn't want to know

I havent presonally had a baby yet and havent fallen pregnant yet as i am only young, but i do believe what your husband does and that is that you should just wait until the baby is born and then find out what it is cos then you can find a name for both a boy and a girl and thats always fun so personally i would leave it to be a suprise please listen to your husband cos if you find out and then think i shouldnt have done it you will only regret it

I couldn't stand waiting. I'm one to fully prepare for what the baby is going to be. I found out with both of my kids and I'm glad I did. I got to decorate accordingly and buy clothes from the off seasons to save some money. If he doesn't want to find out then have him leave the room so you can and just be careful not to let it slip to him what it is.

Do Not tell him if he does not want to know!!!! If he is going to the ultrasound with you he will get excitted, when they ask if you want to know the babies sex, look up at him and say do we? he will be to excited to say no.

Well if he wants to wait then why not just wait. Why is it so important to know before the delivery? And by the way, congrads.
