Oil is good if the baby has really dry skin. But if you are trying to style it a certain way and want it to stay then use a little lotion. It will stay in place when it dries.

i would not put an oil in bt babys hair. they already have a natural oil. i would use a lotion. i always used johnson & johnson or baby magic. neither one is greasy and they leave thir hair smelling like a baby not to mention you can use it in their body wich will make them smell even better

I like Burt's Bees (baby bees) apricot oil. I love the smell. It has really helped out with cradle cap.

Not to be racial but I have only heard of African Americans putting oil on a babys scalp and then I have no clue. Does your baby have craddle cap? Get a kit from Target or babies r us , and make sure you are not over washing the baby every 3 days is sufficent, they do not get dirty.
