Blake is 14 months, and he will go to sleep just fine in his bed with his warm milk, but its when he wakes up in the middle of the night that i run into a problem. I can make him another bottle and he will go back to sleep sometimes, but then again sometimes he just keeps crying at like 2:30 in the morning and he wont stop until i take him in the room with me. I know that i need to stop doing that because he cant sleep with us two forever. Also we have another baby on the way and i dont think our bed is big enough for all four of us! HELP!

Yup, asking the question again. Taking a test today, but it may be too early, so if it's neg, going to take one in two days, and then one more time. In the meantime, points go to the most creative and accurate.

I miscarried at 6 weeks a couple of months ago, and since then all periods have felt like miscarraiges. Last month, I started the pill (Ortho Trycyclen-low) but didn't start the pack this month because of the nasty side effects I was getting before. My period was light, short, timely, and induced by sex, but just as painful. Thought I was pregnant, interestingly enough I got a faint positive that happend an hour after the time limit before my period, but later tests said no.

This month, I'm on CD 25, either ovulated on day 12 or 16 so I'm either 13 or 9 DPO. I've had light cramping, bloating, gas, FATIGUE, tiny bit of nausea, a cold, somewhat sensetive nips, and a that dark line on my tummy. I had it right away last time I was pg but I'm not sure if it's from the first one.

I find it interesting how we define a "life" in America. In America we tend to define a life as the person with the most rat races, most responsibilities, little disposable income and free time. While people who avoid unwanted responsibilities, have lots of disposable income, free-time and live life to his or her own accord we in turn tell those people to "get a life". You go to places like Canada and Europe and they define a life over there as someone who lives life to their own accord and have lots of free-time and disposable income. While once again here in America we tell those people to.....you guessed it.....get a life. I think here in America we get upset and jealous of people who avoid the status quo and still get ahead with half the effort. If so do we as Americans get upset by people who get ahead with no responsibilites (little to no kids, little debt, lots of free-time etc) and tell these people to get a life? Also, how do you define a life?

With my last pregnancy, my GP refered me to an OB for my last trimester. I had hope that the doctor would be female like my GP but unfortunately it was not the case. I really did not enjoy his bedside manner. Example: every other appointment he warned me about too much weight gain. At 38 weeks he also did a procedure he called a "cervical stretching" (has anyone heard of this?) which I believe resulted in my water breaking. Due to my small pelvis, my delivery was complicated so eventually I had a cesarean and on the 25th hour I had a healthy baby. I think it also poignent to mention that he followed up with us in the hospital a couple of times and his stitching is second to none.

Do his actions in the 11th hour, the most important one at that, make up for all that time he drove me crazy? I'll be needing a OB so I could use some advice.

She came home on her expected period date and threw up for almost half an hour and asked for a test. it came up as negative but now it's been 6 days after her expected period...could there be a chance it can come up as positive now when we're still active till this day? i want to wait until 10-12 days for another test. On the night of her expected period after the negative test we had sex and afterwards she went to the restroom and wiped herself off and noticed some brown discharge and i had some on me as well. My thinking then was that she was going to have her period soon..but it has yet to come (period). We have been still active since then also..could that make an effect on things also?

My daugher is 8 years old and in the 3rd grade. She has friends that are girls, but also has friends that are boys. She seems to really want to be hanging out with the boys more. Ever since she was little her preference for friends seems to favor the boys. She has a sister that is 1 1/2 years younger than her and they play "girley" things and it's not a problem, but she also really loves playing rough with the boys. Today she is having one of her "boy" friends come over after school and I feel a little strange about it. He's not spending the night, but they will be playing in her room together and I'm not sure if I should pay extra special attention to them or if I should just treat it as if it were one of the girls. Am I overreacting and worrying for no reason? I need advise on this situation! Thanks!

I have heard that you are not supposed to wear high heels after a c-section for at least a year. What is your opinion and experience about this? I have tried to do a search online about this but couldnt find any answer. I love high heels but have not dared wearing any after my surgery; I just don't know if this is something I should really be careful about because I see celebrities who has had c-sections and within a month or two after their surgery, I see them in heels partying and stuff.

Can you please give me a list of nicknames for the name Emily. Please don't suggest "Em" or "Emmy"...and don't be an asshole and suggest those now that I've said not to. Please list as many as you can think of! I'm tired of being called "Em" and "Emmy"! Thanks so much!

Me and my boyfriend were thinking about trying for a baby in a couple of years but I'm really scared about having to go into hospital. I don't want an espisiotomy, or any interference at all really...so I think I'd be better with a home birth but my mother insists that if it's your first child then you should have it in a hospital just in case something goes wrong.

What should I do?

THis has never really bothered me before but now I am pregnant with my second child it is really upsetting me.
A couple years after I was born my mum got pregnant again and my dad told her to get an abortion so she did. I feel sad that I had a little brother or sister who never had a chance to live and I also feel angry especially now I am pregnant again. How could someone have an abortion in the first place, let alone when they have already felt a baby growing inside them and given birth to it?
It's not like she was young, single or poor so I don't know why she did it, I asked her and she just said because my dad told her to. I asked my dad and he said 'because we wouldn't have coped'
I feel so confused, angry and upset, what can I do to work through it?

...Or are there other parents that refuse to use these child "leashes". I'm not saying that it's necessarily wrong, because I know these leashes/harnesses can be a blessing for parents trying to manage several children at once in crowded places, but personally I could never use one. It would make me feel as though I was walking an animal, not a child.

I don't mean any offense to those that do use these--if I come off as patronizing, please forgive me-- and I don't mean to generalize, but many times the people that I have seen using these are, well...using them because of laziness. Parents that just seem to be more caught up in socializing or other things while they are out than paying attention to their child.

I went to the restroom and urinated and seen that there was blood in my urine. I've been using the bathroom all day and that didn't happen. I wiped myself but I didn't see any blood. I just went to the doctors Tues. and everything was fine no UTI's or any other type of infection. Do you think my mucus plug came out?
