5-7 days past ovulation or past unprotected intercourse? Blood tests are accurate 7 days past ovulation and home tests are reliable at 14 days past ovulation. The tests that say "results 5 days before missed period" are unreliable--5 days before missed period they are only about 65% reliable. After unprotected sex when ovulation time cannot be determined you should wait at least 12 days for a blood test and 19 days for home test.

There is the First Response pregnancy test that can be done 5 days before your period. That is an option.

You can test 5 days before your period is due if you buy the right brand of EPT. First Response, Clear Blue Easy are good choices. Here's a link to the brands and levels of sensitivity.

First Response has a test that can be taken 5 days before your period is due, but remember that you can still get a false negative.
Tests are more accurate after your period is late. They are 99% accurate after your period is a week late.

yes it can be....there are certain test that you can use up to five days before your missed period....do you have any symptoms? i would wait until about three days after the missed period because it could be stressed related if you are late.....

I think to get the most accurate answer I wouldn't test before 5 days before your period.....

i thought a test will only show real results from the first day your period is late and anytime after
