She came home on her expected period date and threw up for almost half an hour and asked for a test. it came up as negative but now it's been 6 days after her expected period...could there be a chance it can come up as positive now when we're still active till this day? i want to wait until 10-12 days for another test. On the night of her expected period after the negative test we had sex and afterwards she went to the restroom and wiped herself off and noticed some brown discharge and i had some on me as well. My thinking then was that she was going to have her period soon..but it has yet to come (period). We have been still active since then also..could that make an effect on things also?

My questions were what did that brown discharge mean on her expected date? It hasent come up since that night...and also, if we're are still actively having sex will that come into play for this expected cycle and could be helpful towards concieveing? That night she felt heat flashes, nautciousness, a fever, and threw up for 30 min..since then her stomach has been sensitive and her boobs are some what sensitive though. We would love to become pregnant but we also are being level headed as far as whats going on and not taking it to far..

Try FIRST thing in the MORNING... that is the best time, when you first WAKE UP!

I am three months pregnant, let me see if my experience can help. Home prenancy tests are falty, they say they are 99% effective but heres my story. I took a home pregnancy test after being 3 weeks late. Now, 2 pink lines did come up but the second was so faint i couldnt tell.I took 2 tests and got the same result. I went to the doctor the next day!
Go to the doctor, if you cant afford it they have free or realy cheap clinics that can tell you for sure. It is super important to find out asap and get on vitims for the baby. The first trimester (firsts 12 weeks) are suppose to be the most important time for babys growth!!!
Get to the doctor!!!!!!!

I don't believe sex can delay the period itself, but when a woman is sexually aroused it can delay the bleeding until the arousal passes. Basically, unless you're the world's most attractive and skilled lover, I doubt your sex life is keeping her period away.
Did you try an "early results" test? Some pregnancy tests are sensitive enough now to detect the pregnancy hormone before you even get your period, and I've always believed that drugstore brands don't work as well as the brand names, either. But that could just be snobbery. :)
Anyway, a week after a missed period should be plenty of time with a normal pregnancy test, but if you're REALLY unsure, go see a doctor. Good luck, whatever result you're hoping for.

You know. She might want to go in and have a blood test done by her doctor or Ob/Gyn. That might help a little more. My sister had 3 Neg test with her first baby and still had not gotten her period. She went in 2 weeks later and found out she was preggers. So I feel like a blood test is the best way! Another thing? Is she feeling tired? Boobs Hurt? Sick? Anything else?

Take another test or check with the doctor. Have her take the test first thing in the morning, the first urine of the day will be the strongest. Or go to the doctor and have a blood test done, they are the most accurate!! Good luck!!

I tested negative on two pregnancy tests when I WAS pregnant because I was on birth control. Def take another test and possibly have a blood test done because it's more accurate.

Hello, the best way to find out is doing a blood test if regular pregnancy tests have already been done and haven't helped any.
