Can you please give me a list of nicknames for the name Emily. Please don't suggest "Em" or "Emmy"...and don't be an asshole and suggest those now that I've said not to. Please list as many as you can think of! I'm tired of being called "Em" and "Emmy"! Thanks so much!

I didn't read through all of the other answers, so i apologize if these were already said, but when I was 5 I had a friend "Emily" who went by "Ly" (pronunciation: Lee) but I have heard Millie (I know, it's not shorter, but it's kind of like the John/Jack thing) and I have also known an Emily who went by Elle/Ellie. Ly and Ellie both were named after their grandmothers and had the nicknames in order to help differentiate themselves.

My friend Emily was an awesome girl, and we both have names that started with "E", so thats what we called eachother ..."E". It caught on very quickly and pretty soon the whole office was going around saying "Where's E.... The short one" when they were looking for me!
Its can be bland, but if you've got a big personality like we did, it'll be cute!

Emma, Emmeline, maybe even Leigh or Leeli, although that might be stretching it a little. Emily comes from the name Amelia/Emilia, so you could probably get away with using Mia, too, if you really want to push it.

my name is emily and my nickname is em, BUT one time my sister and two of my friends were trying to come up with nicknames for it and they came up with ely.(pronounced ee-lee) i kinda like it!
