Yes, ovulation rarely happens on day 14 for most women. One thing to keep in mind though--with late ovulation you will have longer cycles. For example, if you had a textbook 28 day cycle then ovulatin would occur sometime between day 12-16. But if you had a 40 day cycle(still perfectly normal) you could ovulate as late as day 24-28. Good luck!

If you have a longer cycle, then your ovulation would be past 14 days. For example I have a 31 day cycle, and I ovulate on day 17 (14 days before my next period). I can feel myself ovulate so I know that the 14 days before your period rule is true for me.

Yes, but a lot depends on the length of your cycle. Your luteal phase (time between ovulation and your next scheduled period) must be at least 11 days in order for implantation to be successful for pregnancy. Therefore, if your cycle is about 28 days and you haven't ovulated yet, then chances are even if you do conceive, you would most likely miscarry.
I have what is called a luteal phase defect. I found this out after my miscarriage. My OB gave me Clomid to help me ovulate earlier in my cycle. This is a fairly common drug. I take it on days 3-7, followed by Estrace (estrogen) to help thicken my lining on days 8-12, and then Prometrium (progesterone) to help sustain my lining from day 16 of my cycle until I start my next period or until the end of my first trimester if I become pregnant. It worked for me because I have a healthy baby girl.
You can also chart your daily basal body temperatures to find out if/when you are ovulating each month. You can learn how to do this and chart your temps for free at fertilityfriend.com. BBT charts are useful tools for your OB to help diagnose certain fertility problems. Many fertility issues can be diagnosed and treated by an OBGYN. If they cannot help you, then you would be referred to a specialist.
I tried the ovulation kits. They didn't work for me. I have had better luck charting my bbt. Best of luck to you.

Yes. It is not only possible it is not at all uncommon.
I ovulate regularly on day 20 of my cycle. And I know women who ovulate later than that.
I gather that this is the first cycle for which you've used the ovulation tests. I wouldn't worry at this point, you could certainly still ovulate. You may regularly ovulate "late," or you may just be ovulating late this cycle due to stress/illness/sleep deprivation...you name it. If your cycles themselves are regular I would not worry at this point about anovulation.

convinced, it truly is rather accessible for ovulation to take position at different cases of the month. each and every woman's cycle differs, you may calculate what day you need to ovulate by the fashion of days on your cycle yet even then it accessible you've a short lunar cycle ( or ovulate on the end of you cycle). Your body can often times deliver out signals for ovulation, yet how you'll discover out once you ovulate is to make investments in ovulation prediction kits. ignore concerning the instructions on the field and only commence attempting out on the finest day of your era (you've gotten to purchase some kits) and only save attempting out till the try exhibits a surge. that's the most precise thanks to examine once you ovulate. wish this facilitates!! satisfied Ovulating :)

Yes, women can ovulate early or late in their cycle.
Ovulation predictor tests can give you a good estimate of your ovulation time (within 24-36 hours).
I prefer BBT & monitoring cervical fluid, in order to determine my fertile period. It's much more reliable.
