Pregnancy & Parenting - 6 December 2006

The other day, my girl turned red and her nose started bleeding out of nowhere. Could this be pregnancy related? The baby is still kicking and hiccuping. Her heartbeat sounds on track. (We use a fetal listening device) We go to the doctor tommorrow, but I can't wait to find if this is normal. PLEASE NO DUMBASS ANSWERS this is a serious matter.

i posted a question already looking for cute ideas and ways to tell him hes a daddy, well, i may have jumped the gun a little bc i dont know if i am or not. I have missed my period only by a few days but dont have any of the other symptoms, like swollen breasts or fatique, the only thing i have is an insane craving for apples!!! Can i still be pregnant even with out all the symptoms?

IF you have PCOS, and your periods are normally late, and you took your first round of Clomid days 5-9 of 50 mg, but you did not ovulate, did you period still come within 28-30 days, or was it still late... I am just trying to decide if I should start my provera which will make me wake another 2 weeks before I can start my 2nd round of Clomid 100 mg, and I don't want to wait, but I don't know if my period will come earlier this month because of the Clomid- even though I did not ovulate, my progesterone was too low.

This past week I have been having a miscarriage. I was 6 weeks along and it was my first child. I had an ultrasound yesterday that confirmed that the baby was completely out of me and I didnt need a D&C done. Now I am just bleeding like a normal period. We are still greiving but we have excepted the fact that there was nothing that we could have done to prevent it and it wasnt our fault. The baby just wasnt developing right. We were trying for months. I want to know when it is safe to have sex and when is it safe to try and concieve again. I heard that most woman are really fertile after having a miscarriage for up to three months but some doctors say that you should wait for three months to try and concieve. I am confused about the whole thing. If anyone out there can give me some advice please do so. Thank you!!!

My 2 yr old has a cold, I took him to the doctors, they gave him medication i are ready missed one day of work. Well today he started vomitting and i took him to day care i feel so bad. My boss said its ok to leave but i cant afford to leave what should i do? I know he needs me and i feel so bad help some advise please. my poor jr.

I just read a couple posts regarding parents putting their daughters on the Pill, either to regulate periods or prevent pregnancy. I'm all for no teen parenting, but who thinks it should be up to the girl herself, NOT the mom and which teens feel THEY should decide when and IF they want to take the Pill?

It seems like some parents think they have total control over their kids' bodies!

I know this is not a nice topic to discuss but I am worried about an aspect of labour - pooing! My friend who had a baby told me this can happen but not to her and I was wondering if it had happened to anyone out there? I know that when you're in the throws of labour you probably dont care but now I am paranoid - I think I would die of embarrassment!! Is it a common thing, am I worried about nothing?

Unfortunatley..I have to work an hour from home. That means getting my son to daycare around 7:00 in the morning. He's such a good boy, but he's such a pain to get out of bed!! I was the same way when I was little so I guess I'm paying for it now...lol. He does eventually get out of bed..he just moves so slow. I've gotten in trouble at work for being late because of him. Any suggestions on how to get him moving in the mornings? He goes to bed around 8:00 every night and doesn't seem tired in the mornings...he just takes his time :0)

My daughter is 13 and her on again off again b'f turns 17 today. They broke up because he dont want her talking to guys, he gets puffed up and pouts over the least lil thing, he cussed me because I posted what I thought of him to my daughter on her myspace.

Now he's came back crying and apologizing to me and wanting her to take him back. She has fallen into the trap and wants to go back w/ him.

He is all "hands on her waist, picking her up, cuddling, etc" when they are together. They go to her room get online (door open) but one day they were in bed (over top the covers) cuddling watching TV....

Should I be concerned? Should I let her "date" him. Their dates consist of church or my house....

I have recently found out I was pregnant. And I went for my first blood test. What are they testing for at this first blood test. I got a call from my doctor's office saying they wanted to discuss my results. But my appointment isn't until 3 weeks from now. And no one will give me answers over the phone. And I can't get in any earlier. I am freaking out. That they found something wrong. But did they even test for anything to be wrong? Or are they just going to confirm my pregnancy? Please help!!!!!

I've read about the few women who are addicted to hard drugs and can't stop, but cigarettes or liquor? A woman in the office next door has 1 cigarette an hour. And she's at least 6 mos pregnant. She sickens me. Have you noticed this in other future mothers?
