IF you have PCOS, and your periods are normally late, and you took your first round of Clomid days 5-9 of 50 mg, but you did not ovulate, did you period still come within 28-30 days, or was it still late... I am just trying to decide if I should start my provera which will make me wake another 2 weeks before I can start my 2nd round of Clomid 100 mg, and I don't want to wait, but I don't know if my period will come earlier this month because of the Clomid- even though I did not ovulate, my progesterone was too low.

OK...here is the deal.

When you ovulate, you have a period and are generally regular to the tune of like 30 days on average. When your cycles go at great length (45 days......months, etc), then chances are there is no ovulation happening. You can have breakthrough bleeding, but it unless there is ovulation, it isn't a TRUE period.

Not every women ovulates on the first round of Clomid and they go on to another month or so of higher dosages (as you stated). Sometimes that doesn't work, either, but I think for a lot women it does (I am standing proof it can work!).

If your OBGYN knows you are trying to conceive (and I am guessing he/she does since you have Clomid), I would guess (and hope!) that you would be given the provera within 35 days or so to jump start a new cycle. Waiting for weeks/months on end is just plain crazy during this process!

just give your period a 3 day window to be late than start taking the provera because i noticed that if i take provera one month to get my period than for some reason the next month i got my period on my own, even though it was late by 4 days. i know u r anxious, i took clomid to get pregnant b4 and i am getting ready to start the clomid again. the process can be very tiring and nerve wretching.

We tried Clomid with an hcg set off shot and IUI for 3 cycles . . . I on no account had better than one mature follicle on a similar time as making use of clomid and we've been unsuccessful at accomplishing being pregnant.

The key is to not be stressed because if you are stressing yourself to get pregnant It will never happen. Do as the doctor tell you. I pretty sure he told you that not every1 gets pregnant from taking fertility drugs. But Good Luck and Keep in mind what I suggested.
