It is probably normal. There are many things that stimulate the bowels (in both little kids and adults!) to move (exercise, eating, etc.) It just means that he's a healthy kid whose digestive system is on track! It is good that you note that, because if he wasn't having normal frequent bowel movements, that would be a great concern, especially considering his age.

My daughter is the same age & she does not have a bowl movement every time she eats.

Babies are odd little creatures (big smile). My grandson (same age) has a bm at least twice a day.
If you ever read up on the topic, the experts say this is actually healthier. We learn, as adults, to only do this once a day, holding in all kinds of nasty toxins and such.

That's completely normal, even one movement a week is normal. Everyone is different lol. But if it worries you that much go and see a doctor about it.

Not every time they eat My daughter is 21 mths and she has about 2 a day

I don't know about every time he eats,but a couple times a day is perfectly normal. If your worried you should talk to your child's doctor

That lasts until they're about 2 1/2, then they go maybe once or twice a day.

Yes they should it the way you body is suppose to be. Thats why babys poop all the time. Ask any dr. We just clog our systems with stuff we should really have. And we tend to give our children more liquids then what we get. which helps the system too

except on them unlucky days when they have 3-4
