I took a pregnancy test about a week ago and the negative showed up along with the control but it had a faint white line going from top to bottom (positive sign). I was wondering if anyone knows what thats all about like maybe it being a defective stick or why a faint white line will pass through the negative and stay there. It wouldn't make sense of me being pregnant since I'm on my second period this month with severe cramping and back pain...heavy bleeding thats lasted 6 days so far which isn't even close to my normal periods. I just donno anymore so please help.

I was just wondering what method everyone is using these days....Do you..
A) Lay your baby down awake and let him/her fall sleep on his/her own...
OR
B) Help your baby fall asleep by rocking, singing, feeding, holding,etc....your baby?

I'm 37 weeks and I have had bad heartburn pretty much the whole pregnancy. Well last night I woke up from a nap and the heartburn made me throw up! It wasn't any worse than normal either. I have been starting to feel a little bit more queasy these past few days.

when i have to pee really bad and finally do, it feels relieving but i feel a pull sort of at my uterus (as I am almost done) that is uncomfortable. Has this happened to anyone else??...i am on my second one now but can't remember this feeling with him (4 years ago).

and last week Wednesday when I went to the doctor, she said I was 1cm dilated and that baby was faced down. I have been having several contractions during the day and hour. I feel as though it is Braxton Hicks because they do not get stronger and are not always regular. I also notice some type of clear discharge, maybe amniotic fluid I think and when I have the contractions, sometimes I have shortness of breath with them. I do not know what to do. I don't want to go to the hospital and they send me home. Do you think I am in labor? Do you think I have dilated anymore since then? I return to the doctor on next week Wednesday. Please Help....

I've gone to a Nurse Midwife for my two previous pregnancies. I am considering going to an OB/GYN. Can anybody whose had experience with both, tell me which one they liked better and What was the difference in the the care that you got from each? Thanks for answering my questions.

My husband and I have a fairly good idea of which hospital we want to use to give birth. We are touring later this month. My question is this, someone told me that you have to file paperwork prior to having a baby with the hospital for insurance purposes. How far in advance do you have to do this? What all is necessary?

ok so if your pregnant, can your boyfriend have symtoms the same as you, or does he have them more, and around what time does the guy start feeling this way, like around what week?

does the guy vomit, or sleep, or i dont know, anything.. can this happen and if so, what WEEK does the guy intend to feel like that??

My daughter is 7 mos old and I have tried small peices of bannana and smashed cooked carrots but she did all right but she acted like she was gagging on them and or choking sometimes I think. So I haven't tryed it again I did this about thanksgiving time and she was only 61/2 mos old then I tryed a bitter bisket and she liked it but got a small chunk off of it and I took it out of her mouth it scared me. She can grab things with her fingers too. and they say you can start them then. So when is it a good time to start finger foods, and what is the reaction to them when they do eat small peices of food? and what are good starter foods? Thank You

I usually get my period every 28 days and have for quite sometime now... i thought i may be pregnant so the day after my missed period i took a pregnancy test, but it came out negative... some days my back feels as though it hurts like i am going to get my period but i don't get it... could i be pregnant.. my period is only a week late but that is unusual... last night my fiance and i were having intercourse and during it the right side, like right above my hip bone and the side and in front felt weird... what do u think that could be.. last nite, i fell but while i was falling i did everthing i could to not fall on my tummy....i put all of weight on my knees and i arched my back....thankfully i didnt land on my tummy....but could this still be bad for my baby...im 2months pregnant, nad the problem is that i cant go to the doctor cuz my insurance doesnt kick in until Jan.... what to do?

My daughter is 18 months old. Last night she blew chunks all over me. She had no fever, and was not acting sick in the least. During her post vomiting bath, she had a fun time. Basically all behavior was normal, other than the puking. She didn't even seem phased by the fact that she vomitted. Any ideas why a healthy kid would just up chuck?

I personally used to go online because my parents never let me on when I came home from school and they came home from work. The internet was new and exciting! But dial up sucked bc my mom would call the internet line and find out I was surfing because it was busy! haha.
