This happens. I'm 36 weeks and my best friend is 37 weeks. My husband had some morning sickness and pains. My best friend's husband had it way more. He was actually sick several times, like her he would get an upset tummy with some smells and he couldn't stand the thought of pickles. My husband, my best friend, and I were all sitting eating pickles and her husband walked in, smelled the pickles and went and puked. He gained some weight with her and had some pains too. But with both of us this was early on in the pregnancy. Now neither of them have symptoms and we're both miserable. I also know a woman who's husband had every and I mean every labor pain from the early contractions to the delivery pain.

No, men don't experience pregnancy symptoms like women do. If you are pregnant and your boyfriend or husband starts vomitting or sleeping excessively there's likely something else that's wrong with him. Keep in mind this is flu season.

That said, sometimes men will gain weight when their wife is pregnant but that's not because she's pregnant, that's because her appetite has increased and she may be eating more and having more food in the house at hand for snacking, which in turn will usually lead those around her to snack and eat more too.

I don't know when it happens but it does. To some men anyway. Some men have all the symptoms of pregnancy that their significant other has. They feel ill, can vomit, feel excessively tired, and can gain weight right along with their women. It happens a lot. My hubby went through some of the symptoms with my girls but none with my boy. He hasn't had any this time so we are hoping it is another boy. Good luck

They call things like that sympathy pains....it's a mental thing that some men go through when their significant other is pregnant.

There's nothing scientific about it, so there isn't a week it will start or any set pains they will experience or anything like that. Some guys go through it, and some don't.

I've never heard of actually vomiting though, I have heard of aching and being tired and gaining weight.

It's called sympathy pains, where they start to take on some of the eating habits that you do, and have some of the aches and pains that you do. It's probably all in their head. But many men gain weight when their wives are pregnant. Who knows.

Some people do believe that men will have similar symptoms to their preg significant other. Called sympathy weight or pains. There is no scientific evidence of this though.

Simpathy pains is what you call it when your husband or boyfriend has some of the same simptoms as you and your pregnancy. I would have him go to the doctor just incase, because I've never heard of them throwing up, and it is flu and cold season.

His symptoms are not the same as the woman. They are mild at best if he has them at all. They are called sympathy symptoms. It has nothing to do with hormones, but stems from psychological reasons.
