Yes it is OK! It won't harm anything. Just make sure that you are in a well ventilated area because fumes are pretty much the only concern here. Plus, its not like you'll have time to get your hair done once the baby is born! lol

According to the What to Expect when you are Expecting book, there is no research indicating relaxing your hair will harm your child. But they say not to do it because you might not get good results. Your hormones are all out of whack and pregnant women have been known to get "bad results" with coloring, perming or relaxing their hair. I feel your pain though because I really want to relax my hair and I am in my third trimester. I just read that info and decided not to risk my locks at this time.

I colored my hair when I was pregnant, besides the awful fumes that I don't think are good for you. I used to have perfectly straight hair, after I did that my hair turned frizzy and has never been the same again. Everything about you is different when you are pregnant, and you don't know for sure what could happen. Maybe nothing, maybe you'll damage your hair, or maybe the fumes could be harmful. You are almost over with your pregnancy. Just wait until then.

I dyed my hair during all of my pregnanices and I had no adverse effects of doing so. The dye does not get into your blood stream unless you happen to have a cut on your scalp. I dont think a relaxer would cause any harm either. The only reason why doctors and people say not to is because there has been no studies done on this subject. You and your baby will be fine. Congrats to you by the way! Merry Christmas.

Nope its not anything to fear approximately a few females would possibly lose a couple of kilos close the top in their being pregnant, I'm 38weeks and I used to be 172 final week and now I'm 171 so a million lb and your medical professional could be worried approximately you wasting weight however thus far it sort of feels like the whole thing is great, many pregnant females lose a pair lbs for the duration of their being pregnant and it is common the one time I'd be concerned when you misplaced an severe ammount of weight. however 1lb no i wouldnt fear.

is this the kind of mom you are gonna be? You take care of yourself before you worry about the consequences of your child? If you're gonna be a mom, a GOOD mom, you don't take chances with your child's life. Who REALLY knows if it will affect the child. Is that a risk you wanna take just cause your having bad hair days? You should be thinking of the safety of your child. Not how you look. The mental state of a human is much more important than if youre having a bad hair day.
Buy an electric straightener if you need to.

It shouldn't be harmful at all. Most experts say that you can use hair products as long as the area you are doing it in is well ventilated.
