I'm currently 24 wks. 6 days preg. w/my 1st child..It's a boy..But I am having depression REALLY bad, and I' just a nervous wreck! My husband & I live w/my grandparents & mom (It was their Idea, & whenever my mom IS home, she's engaged), b/c of my pregnancy being to high-risk, I'm scared to stay alone b/c of previous problems, needless to say they live around alot of D-R-A-M-A..yelling, to doors slamming that's all they do, ever since they found out I was pregnant.Now we pay 300 bucks a month to stay here, But I can't put up w/this hell I am going through..All I can do Is constantly shake..My ONLY other alternative Is to ride in w/my husband who ( is a mechanic) and works 12 hours a day..I've got friends, but they've got jobs & school..I took "maternity leave" b/c I had shown signs of pre-term labor twice already, can't keep chancing It..Does any body have any suggestions? I'm looking for serious answers, b/c this is a VERY serious matter to me..Thanks!

Ok i am young...21 to be exact and well i like to go out on the weekends im a stay at home mother with my son during the week but on the wknds really only saturdays me and my boyfriend like to go out drinking well he doesnt that much but i like to! is it wrong for me to want to go out and have fun on saturday nights??? or should i be home with my son he is 10 mnths old by the way!

When I was pregnant with my son years back it was........paper. Strange I know. I would get rice paper rather then eating looseleaf, a much better choice. So what was your craving or the strangest craving you ever heard of?

My friend just suffered a miscarriage at 9 weeks. She told me that people said insensitive comments to her after finding out about her miscarriage.

They said things like this, “Well, its probably for the best.” and “You can always try again.” She said hearing that made her feel worse.

Did anyone say insensitive comments to you after a miscarriage?

I am pregnant for the second time (first was a miscarriage) and Im still on my parents insurance plan. I dont want to tell them that I am pregnant until im well into my fourth month just incase of another miscarriage. If I continue to go to the doctor will my parents find out? We live in two different cities so they dont know what going on with me besides what I tell them.

Little kids watch TV even in their SUV's Why can't parents deal with their children like they used to. instead talking or singing with them they are always popping in a video?

Plus I know a bunch of you are going to say you don't do it. But we all know you do The Childrens video industry is a multi billion doller industry and it did not get that way without the majority of parents helping out

In the gym shower I caught a girl staring at my boobs. One is noticeably bigger than the other and that gets me a lot of attention. I announced that I don't mind if she stares because no one should be ashamed of their body. That was a week ago. Since then, the girls who used to hide away while showering to avoid being seen have stopped hiding and now they are more open and less ashamed.

I am about 6 wks pregnant I found out last week well I have no health insurance I do have a job but way to many bills and cant afford doctor bills and I guess I dont really think Medicaid is good because I dont want people always coming to my house i dont want my privacy invaded I guess or does Medicaid not do that do they just help you with health insurance and thats it your on your way?

My son is getting better by telling me that he pooped instead if denying it like always, but he sits on it, but refuses to poop or pee on it. I ask him if he has to go and never. What is the strongest and easiest way to go about this. I know I should wait till he is 2 1/2 and wait till his 8 month old sister is older. He pulls up his pants in the front, butt shows no effort to pull them up all the way. He is a very good boy, and I don't get mad with him or show him that I am mad, but I am just getting frustated with 2 yr old girls going potty before he does. What are the steps and way to go about this. Should I use cloth diapers?

after i had my period 4 1 week my b/f & i had intercourse 1 day after my period, dats on nov. 20,2006.we didnt used any protection @ all,he shoot in me 2x, den on da next day we did it again & shoot in me1x, & before thanksgiving he shoot in me 3x. a few days later we had intercourse on nov. 27 -29. on nov.29 i started to feel sick.like i was started to eat more. 0n nov.30, in da mornin when i got up i started to have major headace dat lasted through da whole day until dis day. is it me or is it da wheather? im not sure .my b/f told me if i was pregnent cuz he was feelin kind of sick for himself, but i told him i wasnt sure if i was ..so right now im not sure if i am or not ..wut do u think? ...

My husband and I are expecting our second child.
Our first son is named "Justis Connor Gray"
We've been told that this baby is a girl (only 75% sure) And we've picked Ayla Jazmine Gray for her name. (or Aj for short)
The problem is, I'm not very fond of "jazmine" as a middle name. But my hubby and I have an agreement where he picked the first name of our son (I picked the midde) so I got to pick the first name of our daughter and he gets to choose the middle.
I love the thought of Aj for a nickname.
Also -if- it is a boy.. I'm considering Julian someting.. but I can't find a nice middle name to go with it. Any ideas?

Well I was this one guy for like 3yrs and well juss 3weeks ago i found out that he had gotten locked up for stealing a car (but this isnt the only time he's got locked up) and then i found out dat same day when he got locked up that he had been seeing me and my neigbhor the same exact time.. he'd be with me in day but with my neighbor at night. Not only that but im carrying his child. Whut should I do? Leave him and move one with my child or should we try to work it out???

Can we please quit blaming our childrens behaviour issues on ADD/ADHD? I KNOW there are children who do have mental issues and it's very hard for them. But everytime a child talks back or gets up and makes a bit of noise we say "Oh, it's ADD" NO it is NOT it's children being children.

Why is it so hard to understand that children are loud and sometimes get out of control for no reason other than they are child. For God's sake we are trying to raise a nation of adults when they are only five or six!!

Has no body tried discpline? Or is that just too hard.

Now, I realize there are kids with real problems and I'm not addressing them. I am talking about the 10,000 posts I see each day here that say "Does my kid have ADD? They don't listen!"

Come on! Be responible for your children.

My four year old son recently started asking me a ton of questios about Santa, and no matter what I tell him he doesn't seem to believe in the whole idea... I tell him (with enthusiasm and happily) that Santa is magical, has elves, you know- all the standard Santa stuff. But he keeps asking trickier and tricker questions... then yesterday he said--
"So you want me to think Santa is this magical guy who has super powers and makes and delivers gifts and watches us all the time? I don't buy it!"
How do I get him hyped up about Santa??

My algerbra teacher Mr. Mills has a myspace and he sent me a friend request. he has like pics of hiself kinda naked on there. So i denied it. and yesterday he was like all offended(he wasnt tht offended he was like playin around)cuz i denied it. he was like howcome u dont wanna b my friend? and i was like what u talking about? i didnt even get a friend request from u( i was lyin). So now he resent it. I saw alot of my friends from skool on his page. but I still wanna deny it again.
how should i deny it so tht he wont get mad at me for real?

Women who are perfectly capable and are loving individuals find it hard to conceive a child, but women who are not deserving who care nothing about their children are having babies like here and there like its nothing. Am I just being bitter because I had a miscarriage but a girl I know is doing nothing but using her child to get what she want from men and cares nothing for her child?

I need advice on night time toilet training my 4 yr old son?
I am having some issues with getting my son to get up in the night and use the bathroom. He sleeps so soundly that he will wet the bed and not wake up. He will be 5 in March.
HE is big for his age, and very very smart. I try to explain to him that he needs to get up when he feels like he is going to go pee, and use the potty (it is across the hall from his room). I leave the bathroom light on and a light in the hallway on also.
I have been trying waking himi up at night to go potty, and it works pretty well, but then I am tired from waking up every 2 or 3 hours to take him to the bathroom...
I have also tried setting an alarm in his room to go off every 3 hours to wake him up so he goes on his own with no luck.
I have him wearing pull ups at night because we dont have a washer and dryer in our home yet, and doing laundry every day was getting to be a bit too much for me...
any advice???
