Please Help me!! what are the pros and cons of a group and vice versa- a solo practice. (one doc)....which one do i choose??? i would choose a solo but i am afraid if the doc wont be available when i give birth and a stranger would do it.....thanks!!

My son has taken interest in planning and designing houses and yards. He goes on forever about how he would have a house built and how many rooms and what the yard will look like. Are there any toys, books, or games that I could get for him to allow him to take his ideas to the next level???

My son, who will be 3 in March, has recently started misbehaving at the sitter. He has been pushing, hitting, and taking toys away from the other children, who are mostly babies (less than 1yo). After three continuous days of this behaviour, our sitter called us today to say that she will no longer watch him. We are left in a really hard place.

We have tried teaching him the difference between right and wrong and we punish him by giving him time out for being agressive towards his older brother, who is 10. He's also got spankings for more aggressive behaviour, like CHOKING THE CAT. =0(

We don't understand why all of sudden this behaviour has begun and how to stop it before we have to keep changing sitters. I need help!!!

I know a 26 year old single girl who lives with her parents. She thinks she's never going to get married. She is in the process of adopting a Vietnamese baby. I'm sure the baby will be better off with her than in an orphanage, but does anyone see the living situation as strange? I plan on supporting her however I can...even if I may not agree. I'm not sure if I agree or not. It doesn't matter if I do. It's really not my place. I'd just like to hear others' opinions.

My husabnd will be deploying for Iraq in Jan, so I really wanted to make this christmas a great one. We are so broke, barely getting by right now. So I know I will not be able to give my kids a good christmas. most of all they really need clothes. Does anyone know any good orgnaizations that it might not be too late to get sponsered by or something? Any advice would help. I have already been hand making most of what I've got so far, but I don't have a sewing machine so I can only do so much.

My friend Daniel is gay and his lover and I were talking about why they are gay...both agree it was something in their up bringing...both from broken homes...both lacking a father...both with very strong ties to their mothers'...They agree that there is no doubt about early influences...but they also think they were pre-disposed to becoming gay due to the way their brains were wired from birth...My question then...Is there a link maybe, between brain function/disfunction/activity...and gayness?

all the time i get the feeling that i want 2 be pregnant, and i want a baby , and i no its stupid because im 15, 16 in 5 wks. am i being pathetic? i sometimes pretend to strangers i am actualy pregnant by pushing out my tummy and says some symptoms! any advise?
