...take their kids to grocery stores and let them eat food right out of the bakery boxes on the shelves?? Today a woman brought her child into the store where I was working, and while she was placing her order, her child removed a lid to a cake and started eating the chocolate peelings off the cake! The mother saw what her child was doing (yes, I'm positlve), but did nothing, and then she took her child and walked away, just leaving the cake picked over with the lid off on the shelf. Another time a woman was with her son, and her son was up climbing on the second shelf where the bottled water was. An employee mentioned something to his mother, who said,"Please get down," and that was it. Her son of course didn't listen, and was still climbing on the second story shelf when the employee left.
And my biggest concern of all: Why do parents drive shopping carts around with their kids standing up in them?? I was at a register where a little girl was standing in the cart. She leaned over to look at something, fell right out, hit her head on the bag rack, and landed flat on the floor. And another time I saw a woman with a little boy standing up in the child seat (you know, the area right by the cart handle where a child can sit)! He was at least four or five feet off the hard cement floor! I was so scared he was going to fall!
Please please watch your children carefully. I'm not judging anyone or criticizing, but I want to keep our food safe for customers to eat, and I want your children to be safe.

I am doing a questionire on how teen girls deal with being pregnant ( financially, emotionally, socially, ect). How did you or your friend deal with the pregnancy (abortion, adoption, or keep it)? How did your decison effect you months or years later ( finacially, emotionally, socially, ect)? What advise would you give a pregnant teenage girl?

I just don't understand why. If the formula feeders know that breastfeeding is the best why do you hate the breastfeeders so much? Why the hostility? Why hate on a mother who succeeds in breastfeeding, is proud of it and says it loud and proud? Do formula feeders feel like failures and feel that the breastfeeding mothers throw it in their faces? I think the breastfeeders have every right to feel proud, they are giving the best for their babies so what is so bad about that? I don't see breastfeeders feeling bad that they don't formula feed. I know some of the formula feeders say they "tried" to breastfeed but for some dumb reason it didn't work out. Well that's not the breastfeeders problem. If formula feeders feel bad about their failures then don't take it out on breastfeeders, take it out on yourselves for failing and not trying hard enough. Yeah I know some of you might say you tried hard enough but you didn't.

I heard that tap water is better to mix with formula than bottled water. Is this true?

I have a 1 month old baby nephew and he's really congested. He cries alot because its hard for him to breathe. Even when you hold him or he's sucking his bottle you can hear all of the mucus in his nose. We have used Saline Solution in his nose to losen some of the mucus and suck some of it out but its not really helping. My question is... Is it ok for us to give him Infant Tylenol Drops?, and If so, How much should we give him to be safe? They say on the package not to give it to children under age 2 but thats not always the case, you can give it to infants but we don't know what amount to give especially since he's only a month old. Can someone help me PLEASE!!

during the time that she was most fertile according to an online ovulation chart (nov 10th -13th) we had sex on at least 2 occasions. The last few days she has been complaining of fatigue and nausea and has gotten a nose bleed the last 2 nights. The chart said she should get her next period on the 27th and she wants to wait to take a test until she is actually late but the anticipation is killing me. Do you think its a very good possibility that she is pregnant? Is it too early to be having these symptoms?

My ex hardly has anything to do with our son. I understand that he lives about 6 hours away, but he only exercises his visitation rights about every 3-5 months and most of the time he will call the Wed. night before and say "WE are coming to pick up Tyler", but then WE doesn't show, my ex-mother-n-law does. I havent actually laid eyes on my ex in about 1 1/2 to 2 yrs. My ex mother-n-law came and got my son for his birthday, and when my son came home he told me that him and his grandma stayed with family about 2 hours away from here and his dad wasn't even around at all that weekend. He hasn't seen him since July. He only calls when he is letting me know he is exercising a visitation, even though it isn't actually him exercising it. I have jumped all over him before about his lack of interest, but that probably wasn't the best approach, and I also wrote him a letter and he completely ignored it. I can't stop his mom from coming, because our divorce papers say he can send any adult.

It seems the nicer I am to the son, age 12 the ruder he is to me. He also has horrible manners. He farts as he walks by you, burps deliberately and does not excuse himself, goes to the bathroom with the door open, and it makes me sick to watch him eat, I dont even want to get into that. lets just say I have seem animals with better manners. He has behavioral and learning problems. His mom is at the end of her rope, and has pretty much given up and lets him do what he wants.I simply cannot move him in here, even if it means my boyfriend will move out. Sometimes I feel like I am losing my mind, about a week ago I drew a caricature type picture of him with his favorite rude saying underneath, and then tore it up a few minutes later. Childish, yes I know, but I had to vent somehow, and that is better than blowing up at the kid, which I have done a few times in the past 2 yrs, for either lying or because I was sick of his backtalk. I still dread his visits even though things have improved

On AIM I told my crush I liked him. I asked him not to tell and he promised he wouldn't. My friend is a twin and her brother said "haha you like Anthony" to me. That means he must have told someone I liked him. I even asked the twin how he found out. He said I cant tell you but all the boys know. He even knew I told him on AIM. SHOULD I BE MAD?

And the boy they foster just got caught at school play the choking game or pass out game, I asked my husband if he has ever heard of this and he said "yeah I use to do it all the time when I was growing up" has anyone else out there heard of this? Apparently it is very popular and alot of kids are doing this as a "high" and they are dying from it. Our children 4 and 1. It just seems kids are doing more crazy things now a days and I'm a little concerned.

I ovulated on November 21st, and had intercourse a day before, and a day after this. For the last two days my breasts have been sore. The area around the nipple is very hard and tender, almost like I am constantly aroused. Could this be a sign of pregnancy, or would it still be too early to tell?

Essentially my parents have a daugher and son. I'm the son. When I got married my mom didn't particularlly care for my wife at all and it shows. However, my sister has a bf. My mom is very happy for her and likes my sister's bf. They recently had gotten engaged and my mom goes out of her way to be nice (prepares dinners, gives large sums of money to him etc....) Is it common that a mother will get more along or agree with a son-in-law rather then the daugher-in-law.....

I am concerned about my baby getting sick (cold or flu) because of being handled by people who have not washed their hands. I understand that kids need to be exposed to germs in order to build immunity, and I'll be much more willing to let this happen when she is a few months older, but at this time, I want all visitors to our home to wash their hands before holding her. Would it be appropriate to put a sign on the front door indicating this so that I don't need to have the same conversation over and over again? Any other suggestions?

Are there any sites I can go to help stop abortions? I mean abortions are horrible!!!!!! One of my moms chat buddies actually saw one! She said the baby was so tiny, and you could see the little fingers and toes wiggling. Its so sad, that people want to kill little babies! Why can't they just put them up for adoption! But anyways are there any sites that stop abortions? I`want to visit one so I can help stop abortions.
