We are ttc. Is it possable to conceive the day you start your period or a day before you started and after your period?

The best day to conceive is the day or so before you ovulate. If you don't have an egg to fertilize, then you can't get pregnant.

The conventional wisdom is that there's no "safe" day if you're trying to *avoid* pregnancy, so it would follow that there's also no day on which you CAN'T conceive. Of course, the chances of doing so near your period are lower - but I wouldn't rule anything out.
