Underlying issus to Teen Pregnancy & How does society deal with it?

I'm doing a survey on what world believes to be the main underlying issue(s) to what causes teen pregnancy. ?? (parents, friends, other, ect) How do politics affect pregnant teens? How does society react to them?

Personally i know i've wrote a question like this before and i pretty much got negative feedback..this isnt my excuse for doing it but its part of the reason i did do it and i know thats why i did it......When i was little my dad never hugged me and he never said he loved me..the first boy that told me that and hugged me i jumped into bed with...that sence of having a male figure love you is overwhelming and nice to have...specially if your own father doesnt. I really dont think its that big of a deal anym ore about teens getting pregnant...at first it was a big deal to be pregnant at 18 or 16 now its pretty much only a big deal if your 12 and 15 and your pregnant....its not that i dont think its right for them to have children its just a long hard road to choose. I think older people have a bigger problem with teens being pregnant then younger people. I could be wrong tho but then again i live in arkansas so stuffs different here then it is some other places...I think if schools talked about it more and had a real sex ed class had pregnant teens come in or teens who had children and talked to them....i think it really would make a big difference besides just giving us those damn rubber dolls and telling us its like having baby!

I believe it is probably parents not talking to their children enough or early enough about sex, not being there or not having any type of guidance. The age for sexual intercourse is dropping every year though. Now, the average 12,13,14 year old has had sex before. Politics seem to ignore or not address the issue at all. Society tend to look down on them or feel sorry for them.Most people don't think about the situations these tends were in but just look down on the teen mother anyway. Which I don't really like because my parents had me at 16 and 19.But they have raised me well.And I am taking a child abuse course with this girl who is around my age,21 or 22 and she have a 12 year old daughter. She was adopted and put in foster homes but someone must have raped her and she still had the child. And she raised her daughter good as well.I am pretty sure she had help during the early years but she does great with her.

Well... I don't think you can determine any one thing that causes teen pregnancy. It's a tough thing for me to discuss, as I am the product of it, and at the age of 18, I am pregnant.

Society does not take them well. I know from experience. Even just having a mom that had you young makes you looked down upon. The worst thing my whole life has been the expectations society has placed on me. They've always expected me to just run off and get pregnant. Albeit, a lot earlier than I did.

most of the time teens get pregnant not thinking about any of these issues or even the fact that they can get pregnant people spend to much time thinking what can they blame for a childs mistake instead of trying to educate the child
