Pregnancy & Parenting - 25 November 2006

ok i am obviously getting anxious as i am 38.1 weeks pregnant and have been having pre labor signs since i was 34 weeks. I will give a brief summary, then (just for fun) i want your opinions and guesses on when this baby may arrive. Anyone who experienced these please share your stories!! Thanks

34 weeks lost a big piece of mucous plug (no blood) also started having some small menstrual like cramping contractions

35 weeks continued menstrual cramps

36 weeks fingertip dilated and starting to thin (last time i was checked for changes)

37 had a small spot of blood in undies twice this week (very small spot hardly noticeable)

38 weeks (just started 11/24/06) had bowel movement after everything i ate and now tonight after walking around the mall i have some small spots f blood in my undies (still not alot maybe it is a lil bit of bloody show)

sooo with that said...whats your opinions...i no there is no def. answer fo rme...but i am anxious and curious to see what u think!

i think they should start like at 1and 1\2 years or when they are 2..when do you think children should start going to daycare?

I am pregnant with my fiance's baby and he told me that he had cheated on me once. I was so hurt seeing as I am pregnant, it hit me really hard. He said that he told me because he loved me and he wanted to have a new start. But I'm confused because it he does it while I'm pregnant can he really love me? I just need opinons and support please.

My boyfriend had a one night stand with a girl before we were together. The date was the 23rd June 2006. She is now pregnant and has told him that it is his child. The baby is due on the 26th February 2007. Do these dates match up?

All these christmas questions got me thinking: I have NO idea what to get for my 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 year old daughters' stockings. I got my oldest some hair barrets because she actually has hair but that's about it. I've thought of getting them both a movie and book for their stockings but what else? I don't want to load them down with candy.

If someone is found guilty of molesting their children 15-20 years ago but has been found to not do it anymore would you trust your child around them?

*My ex feels it's alright, as well as a lawyer and a judge. I kept my ex from taking my son (I did not stop visits) because he had moved back in with his mother who had molested him as a child. The judge found me in contempt of court because I should have know my ex's mother doesn't molest kids anymore.

we each have children from those marriages. all of my friends want to have a baby shower but i feel SO WEIRD about doing this... we don't have any baby things as his youngest child is 15 and my youngest is 8. how would you feel if you received an invitation in this situation???

My 8 week old daughter has had a stuffy nose and a little cough for the past week and a half...and she throws up mucous(i think its mucous) we just found out her 1 y/o cousin has RSV and we all live in the same home do you think my baby may have RSV also?Should I make her a doctor appt?

I'm a junior in high school & babysit for a group of 4 couples every school week. There are 7 kids, two per family except one, & I watch them for 2 hectic, I-want-to-kill-myself hours. Anyway, regularly I get paid $5 an hour for each separate family. So for the very 1st couple of weeks, they were each paying me about $10 for the two hours, & I made like $35 each night & I was like, okay, this is good I can keep doing this. But then I started getting $20 for the nights rather than the $35, and I realized they started paying me only about 5 each. And then the last couple of weeks, one of the couples stopped paying me completely & I'm down to about $15 for 2 hours for 7 kids. I don't want to say anything to that couple though. These people are always changing the schedule without letting me know & sometimes calling me the day-of their meetings, expecting me to show. It's not like I don't have homework; I take AP classes & I get really stressed sometimes. Is this fair what they're doing?

I took 5 pregnancy tests and the very first one came up positive and the rest negative. I was just curious if you can have the pregnancy hormone in your body if you are not pregnant. I think it is impossible because it is produced by the placenta but i was just curious. Also, im not feeling well, food makes me sick and im soo tired. Im not peeing a lot though. This would be my second pregnancy if i am. I do have a doctors appointment on monday but i just want to know now. Can the pregnancy test i took be a fluke because they cant do that to people.. They can not make one positive out of the hundred they make. Im going crazy lol...please help..
