I agree with Mom*2's advice. You should indeed, w/o our permission make a doctor appt for your daughter especially if she's a preemie. My nephew's a preemie and on the last Friday of every month, he has to get the RSV shot in both of his thighs.

Yes, definitely take her to the doctor since the cousin has RSV. You don't wanna mess around with that.

My oldest child had RSV. It is a virus that causes the mucus to turn into a 'glue-like' substance and makes it hard for the baby to breath. When you suction your baby's nose, look and see if it is really thick. If so, carry it to dr asap. If you wait to long it can turn lung lining into glue paper...seriously! Good luck!

Take her to the doctor and make sure you tell them about the other child with RSV as it is very contagious.
My daughter had it twice and was hospitalized at 4 months with it. It can be scary so please have her checked.

My son (additionally a preemie @ 26 weeks, now seven years previous) have been given RSV two times, as quickly as in basic terms formerly he substitute into 2, returned a year later. i substitute into advised on the time of his 2d an infection that they at the instant are not getting it previous 2 years previous, yet I insisted that it substitute into the comparable as final years an infection...and on bloodwork i substitute into proved precise. He had to return on oxygen the two circumstances, and alter into quite sick for greater or less 4-5 days, slowly convalescing after that and alter into released interior of a fortnight. substitute into very torpid and sick watching the beginning up of his an infection, and with the aid of the tip of it substitute into nonetheless particularly drained, yet of course getting greater advantageous. right here wintry climate after his 2d an infection with RSV, all of us have been frightened that he'd get it returned, yet thankfully he substitute into effective, and has been nicely ever on the grounds that. It substitute right into a brilliant alleviation, as he substitute into greater liable to it as a results of his continual lung sickness (after his early beginning, he substitute into in wellness center for 4 months and alter into released on oxygen which he needed till he substitute into over a year previous). this is totally frightening, so i understand what you're dealing with. i bypass to e mail you with this answer too, so in case you wanna communicate, in basic terms e mail me back. solid success, wish she improves right now. ***edit to characteristic...and no one ever smoked around him, so it wasn't that. We quite lots saved him remoted for the 1st year of his life, and he by no ability have been given sick then. It substitute into in basic terms as quickly as all of us started taking him out in public greater (generally for his early intervention scientific care and paediatrician visits particularly) that he substitute into uncovered to the virus from human beings.
