It's absolutely OK unless your medical doctor told you other wise. And as you stated everything in moderation. Just be watchful of the label content: coca, caffeine are all stimulants so it may effect your ability to get the rest you need. Remember you have a way to go and that little bundle of yours is going to continue to grow so you will wasn't to be mindful of calorie counts. Blessings to you , and your bundle of love. Savor every bite. Also, if ya like m&m's you can make a small bag last for 2 days. Enjoy!

Yes, it's perfectly safe. By the time my baby shower rolled around I was so well versed in all of the candy bars that I won the "what candy bar is melted in the diaper game". Just remember cravings now are lbs later to lose. Trust me...I still have 10 to go 15 months after baby #2.

As long as you eat a balanced diet and take your vitamins there should not be a problem. The only problem you could get into is sitting down and eating 1 pound bags of M&M's at a time at least once a week. Then all you get is fat that is harder to lose when the baby comes. (I did this with the second one) The baby will get it's nutrients one way or the other. Either by what you eat, or drawing the nurtients from your body.
All things in moderation.........

i ate a few peices of candy everyday, and still do at 23 weeks pregnant,,,,the only thing i wasnt able to eat which is good in a way is chocolate, because of the smell....but im happy about that because i love chocolate and would never have stopped eating it...as long as you take your prenatal vitamins and eat healthy food besides the candy you should be fine

I knew a girl that was prgnant and she was huge at 3 months. She did have twins. I only had 1 baby and I didn't really show a big bump until 7months.

Unless you are at risk for diabetes, there's nothing wrong with it. Just eat it in moderation, like you said that you do.
A healthier alternative would be to try to satisfy your cravings with fruit sugars instead of processed sugar (and it will prevent constipation). Go for the chocolate, though, if it's driving you mad to be without. :)
Congrats on the pregnancy.

Candy is safe to eat during pregnancy, but you might want to consider these factors before opening that 2 pound bag of M&M's...weight gain, gestational diabeties and guilt....but if none of these factors bother you then...enjoy...lol

I'm 16 weeks, and I crave sweets like crazy!!!!!!!!! Its fine as long as you get your full supply of other nutrients as well. I used to eat cake, broccoli, ranch dressing and pineapple upside down cake all at the same time! ( no joke!!!) Its just the baby telling you that your body needs glucose (sugar). So indulge!!!!!!
