my daughter did not like the way my milk tasted when i got pregnant. i think it lacks the vitamins because it goes to the baby.

The milk might taste somewhat different but nutritionally it is the same and the pregnancy hormones won't hurt the baby. Some babies won't nurse when the mom gets pregnant, though, because they don't like the different taste. When you are further along it changes to colostrum and the baby can continue to nurse, but some kids don't like colostrum. You can continue to nourish you, your nursing baby, and your growing fetus at the same time. Just eat a reasonable diet.

I hear that it changes the flavor of the milk, but it doesn't seem to affect the nursing baby. Generally some seem to dislike the new taste.

Um I dont think it would affect your "milk" but maybe you would make more milk if you got pregnant again and it will be more the the other baby

My mom became pregnant while nursing and her supply decreased a lot. See a lactation consultant or visit/call La Leche League for help.

no its perfectly fine, if anything, your milk will becoming in stronger, the hormones effect your breasts in the sense they will be filling up, wwhen your pregnant, so no, your fine. Call your baby nurse if you are truly concerned. â¥
