I have been reading about it recently and it is a very dangerous game. Many kids die from this.

Be very concerned. There is a website about this that has pictures of a lot of kids who have died playing that game. I read the information to my son and made him look at the pictures to make sure he never plays this game. We played it when I was in school, but I didn't know it was dangerous. I don't have the site bookmarked, but type in the choking game and you can find it.

Yes I have heard of this game and sadly yes so many lids are playing it as well as dieing from it. It seen so inconceivable that we as parents spend so much time doing whatever it takes to make sure our kids are as safe as they can be only to have them go off with friends and risk their lives playing games like this and other so many more dangerous one and they seem to get worse by the day as the push limits further and further chasing an even better high.

well it is unfortunate that the kids today (like us) don't know how dangerous that game is! This is NOT a new game either, we used to do it to, but not to the extent that it is being done today.
back then is was funny to watch the kid doing it squirm and wiggle on the ground till the "woke up". But the unfortunate thing today is, keep doing it after the first time. that is when problems set in! ! !
another thing that was done in yesteryear was the game of nitrous gas( dentist lafing gas) ...or ....here is the MOST popular ...the gas in the balloon....helium! you have heard the Donald duck voice. well if you do this to much it will replace all the oxygen in your lungs and the result is death. "DON'T DO THIS"! ! ! !

Yes I played that game but the kids now are using ropes or belts to hang from door knobs, but when I did this I held my breath and blew into my thumb until I was uncontious and nothing was constricting my neck so I could breath within the next couple of seconds. Kids these days really seem to not be thinking!

Personally i've played it and i don t think its really that big of a deal..it depends how far you take it...its just like anything else kids do...racing cars couuld cause a really bad car accident and kill them but no one really talks about that....if its not dangerous kids think its not fun...same thing with kids having sex.

Yep, I did it with some buddies and buddies who have been much extra superstitious than I. in certainty, I knew how the board surely worked (Ideomotor consequence) so I had a grand time pushing the pointer around and determining on a pair letters, in basic terms to work out the different gamers go with the relax letters of the know-how I had began spelling. hint in case you spell "DE", superstitious gamers will consistently end with "MON", on the grounds this is precisely what they're all thinking. And if its darkish and in basic terms lit via candlelight, it rather is exceedingly uncomplicated to fling the pointer at somebody and freak them out. The Ouija board in basic terms conjures concern, superstition, and stupid habit. It additionally seems to conjure tall memories on the internet.

yes, it's been highlighted a lot in the news recently. I don't understand why children would do this but I know I will be discussing it with my child as early as 3rd grade. (he's 5 now). There is no way I'm going to have my child die of some stupid game.

This game has been around for about 20 years, and the kids learned it from adults who practice this during sex. About every community has seen a young person die from this. There needs to be lots of support and education for kids to keep them out of this kind of activity. Best of luck to you!
