hey guys! my body is confusing me this month. first of all i ovulated at the beginning of this month and i had protected sex at that time, too! however, my body felt different. my breasts were sore and a week or so later i was throwing up, had bad headaches and nausea all day. i still have the nausea today! my period was due on the 19th, but i got it on the 20th! i usually suffer from pms, but its usually mood swings and cramps nothing like what i experienced. i know the bleeding i'm having is not implantation, but my regular period as its moderately heavy! i have all the pregnancy symptoms except with my period. is it possible to still have regular periods and be pregnant? if not what are these symptoms

My next door has the cutest little 7 year old daughter that is a little on the chubby side. The mother calls her daughter all kinds of fat humiliating names in front of all of the neighborhood kids. The little girl get so embarassed that she starts to cry and has very low self esteem. The mother takes good care of the child and keeps her well dressed she just verbally puts her down and makes her feel terrible. The girl has a hard time making friends and always has her head down looking so sad. I tried talking to the mother and trying to point out the error of her ways but all she does is tell me to shut up and mind my own business and threatens to beat me with her personal collection of whips and chains. Is there anything that I can do? Or should I just shut up and mind my own business??

I wanted to know if you spank your child(ren) and if you do or do not, the reasons behind it.

I know that when you have children and the frustration gets the better of you you sometimes find yourself tugging on their arm to hurry up a little too hard or putting them on their bed or on the floor a little too roughly.

I would appreciate your opinions....

at eighteen months thats too soon, too young and too cold outside to rush here and there. the child is hypercative and playful enough. I would think more educational stuff like an ABC, 123 class would be more appropraite.
the child may grow up disliking gym.

I'm pregnant and my 16 year old boyfriend is mad because all of a sudden he doesn't want me to have the baby or put our girl up for adoption. So I said "Well just don't help raise her then." And he got mad and slapped me across the face. He came back later and said sorry but he has been cold and distant for a while now. Ever since we started buying stuff for the new baby and picking out names. Even though he said sorry I still feel shaken up like I cannot trust him anymore. Has he just realized he is going to be a father? What the hell is going on?!!

Ok. My wife and I have been married for 13 years. Started dating when we were 16. We picked out the name Donna Kathleen for a girl back when we were 17 or 18. Now we are finaly having a girl. Problem she wants to call her Kate and I want to call her Katie. So we have agreed to pick another name to put in front of Donna Kathleen and call her by whatever that name is. So any suggestions?

For about a week now it seems so much harder to bend over to pick things up, and throughout my whole pregnancy my pants fit right under my stomach and would even fall off my hips (now they are tight) on top of it all it hurts in my "area's" and when I walk i look like a sumo wrestler. Has his head engaged?

My son is 7 months old. I have a daughter who is 5 years old. And on top of that I work a full time job (not by choice). I'm exhuasted and thus very crabby. I'm afraid that the situation is having a negative effect on my daughter. I've talked to her about it and I try to control myself but perfection is out of reach.
I need my son to stop getting my up at night so I can get some sleep so everyone around me can be happy.

I have a bedtime routine and a consistant bedtime. I just don't want to have to implement "cry it out". I did it to my daughter at my husband's instance and I hated every moment. I don't want to go there again.

Please, Please Help me. How do I teach my son this lesson in a humane fashion for everyone's sake.

I want to start a tradition of magic and fun for my kids on Christmas. My mom used to always read the story about Jesus on Christmas Eve night, I always enjoyed it. I would like to find a good book with something to do with Santa and the elves however. Does anyone have any good suggestions?
