- the first time my son said my name, Mommy!
- the hugs for no such reason other than to
- seeing his face every morning
- hearing him say thanks and please, I smile everytime
- seeing him succeed in school, knowing that you played a part in that.

for me, its
the joy of sharing my life with another person
feeling that i have helped guide and direct this child towards being a well-centered adult
seeing/hearing the childs concepts of the world and how/why it works the way it does
having an experiment work out, (yes i have tried out some of my concepts on my child lol) such as "can she read at age 3, will this help her in school later on" , ps: i always approached education with her as play, early on,
hearing her say "thank-you" , "i love you" etc

knowing that when they grow up your child will love u for what u did to help them live in the real world.
another is going through the cycle of parenthood
the hardships shape your personality and make u a better person. plus when u go out in puplic u can use your child to pick up guys or women. well i guess thats just how things work
