Use baby oil before you dry, after taking a bath or shower. Baby oil baths are good also, but be careful because the bath tub gets slick and you will need someone to help you out of the tub,so that you want fall. Drink LOTS of water it will keep your skin from drying out. Cocoa butter lotion is also good for dry skin and stretch marks.

Are you feeling axious about delivery and/or being a mom? Many times stress can cause "alergic" reaction type symptoms. Do you have a rash? or is it just itching. I will go along the lines of stress. Relax, do your best and you will be a fantastic mom and labor is only a few hours of your whole life of holding and loving that baby!

I had this problem, too... I used to fill the bathtub with cool water and lay in it to try to relieve the itching. I feel for you, because not much helps. At least you only have 3 weeks to go, and the itching will magically dissapear with childbirth.

Congrats and good luck!

Same thing happened to me, take some baby powder and rub it where you itch, Also try some coco butter, you skin is stretching and your losing moisture. It's very annoying I know, Also stay away from too hot showers, this drys out your skin and also doesn't help the elasticity in you skin. Congrates and Good Luck!

lotion, the reason for the itching is the change in seasons and your body is growing to hold the baby so you need to keep it moisturized otherwise you could end up cracking your skin. I would also go see a dermatologist and see if they have any suggestion. a regular doctor could help you but I would go to someone who specializes in one thing

There is a cream called "Mother's Friend" it's a body skin cream for stretched, tight, or dry skin during pregnancy. I use it and it works woderfully. Available at Walgreens or any store like that. You can also google it and find out where to order it.

Lotion, lotion, lotion. Vitamin E lotion or lotion with oatmeal will help the itching. It's just your skin stretching to accommodate the baby. I've never heard of benadryl helping though.
