My daughter is 6 1/2 months and eats really well...stage 1 and stage 2 baby food...just wondering at what age to introduce finger foods (i hear cheerios is a good one, did any of you introduce cheerios and what age?) and what other foods are good to start her off with?? I know some people give cheese, but aren't you supposed to stay away from dairy for the first year?

He goes to the toilet at school but refuses to go at home or when we are out. He will hold it until i put a nappy on. I tell him that he is a big boy now, his response is "no i not a big boy, i am a baby" I am a single mom with no other children. He gets all my love and attention. When people are around he sometimes talks like a small baby when he can talk properly, what should i do?

My sons are being tormented by a neighborhood kid who will not leave them alone. He is an instigator and a troublemaker to all the kids, but he's kind of a wuss, too. Everytime the kids react to his bullying, he runs home and tells daddy, who steps in without finding out the whole story and threatens kids, parents, etc. As you can imagein, we (as well as another neighbor, who's dealt with this guy) are frustrated and angry. We've told our sons to stay away from this kid, but the kid seeks them out and talks shi*t and tries to start trouble (He lives 2 doors down and goes to the same school as my kids!). What I'm telling them to do now is just say "So?" or "What?" everytime this kid says anything to them - don't give him the benifit of seeing them get upset, you know? Anyone else ever had to deal with a situation like this? What did you do? How did you and you kids get through it?

This usually happens 1st thing in the morning and then stops. Could it have anything to do with the fact that I only had my 1st child 10months ago. Has any one experienced this because I am worried.

My daughter is almost 2 1/2. Right after she turned 2, we put her in a toddler bed. For the first few nights we had trouble getting her to stay in bed but after that it was great, she would sleep all through the night and that lasted only a month. Now we fight with her to get her to stay in her bed to go to sleep and then she wakes up 4 or 5 times a night. If she comes in the living room, she'll fall right asleep on the couch, but I really want this to stop because I'm about to have another baby in a month. I don't know if she's scared of something in her room or what is going on. Any responses would be helpful.

Here is what is going on...
I took 3 HPTs at home on 3 different days, all of which came back positive. The first one was rather faint, but the rest were darker. I went to have a urine test at the DR's office, it came back negative. (mind you, this very morning I took one at home and it was positive) So, I was really confused and upset. The very same day, I went and got another test, totally different brand and it came back positive. (3 tests in one day) Is it possible that the DR's test is wrong? I could see having one positive and the rest negative, but 4 out of 5 were positive. I think after Thanksgiving I am going to go get blood work. Any thoughts?? Thanks all!

My son's two bottom teeth came through 9 days ago, how long after they come through the surface does it take for them to be all the way in? And also how long after his bottom teeth come in do his top teeth come in? I know all babies are different I just want to know other peoples experiences. Thanks!

he's still being fed 3 times a day and when i try to cut out a feed he goes banannas!!! and wont sleep and cries and cries. he can cry for hours until mentally i cant take it and give in.

Hi i am 6 weeks pregnant but bleeding quite heavily with clots, went to doc when first started friday but she said if bleeding gets worse and get bad cramping to go back. the bleeding carried on for 3 days and was heavy but now has got less. But i haven't had any cramping, just really worried. Got scan on thursday but should i go to doc before? do you think i've lost it? x x x x

I have been on Seasonique b/c pills for about 3 weeks. I had an "oops" with my boyfriend on Friday. I have been taking the pills, but I have cramps in my lower left abdomen now. Anyone had cramps on this pill? I thought I would ask before I go to the doctor. Just to see if it is common...

My son is 17 months old and I haven't given him a pillow in his crib yet. Lately when I've been checking on him in the middle of the night he has had his blanket bundled up under his head. I guess this means he wants one. I'm just nervous about sids or suffication. FYI, he is a 26lbs and 33 inches and walks and runs all over the place, he is not a "baby" baby. Thanks for your help!!

I am 14 weeks pregnant and I have had sooooo much gas! haha. I know this may "gross" some people out, but I mean come on...everyone does it... okay... I was one of the lucky ones and i didnt get any morning sickness or any type of pregnancy sickness, however, i have had very bad gas! burps,"poots", the whole nine yards with the body gas. Has anyone else experienced this? Alot of people say thats a sign of a boy, has anyone else heard this? Also, whats going on with my baby at 14 weeks? I dont even feel pregnant, but the ultrasounds and heart beat are perfect!

I have a 7 year old that is accident prone(hurting himself like 6 times a day). My other kids just dont ever get hurt like he does. He has never been seriously injured, but is always bumping his head, or hitting his foot on something, and the list goes on. He just is oblivious to everything around him.
Pays no attention. Is there anyone else who has a child who is accident prone, or has been accident prone themselves? Just curious
