Pregnancy & Parenting - 21 November 2006

My little girl is 22 months old and weighs 23 pounds. I currently have her on a (almost) gluten-free diet, which keeps her from having diahrrea- and she is gaining weight again. She seems to also have a belly bigger than I recall my son having at this age and sometimes it is bigger than others. I'm sure it's partly the normal potbelly that toddlers seem to have, but it's sometimes so big that her innie belly button starts to poke outward! It's big, taut, and almost feels like a balloon made of skin and muscle.

Am I overreacting, or should I tell this to the next doctor I see? How big is the "normal toddler potbelly", anyway?

Today is the day I would normally start my period. I'm having a little bit of cramping and very little blood. It is not dark red like it usually is nor heavy, could this be implantation?

ok ive heard lots of things about pregannt girls that supposably can tell whether its gona be aboy or a girl!! like ive heard thats if ur stomach is pointy or round determines what the sex of the baby is gonna be...does anybody know about anything like that? or any other defects that the mother has that determines what the baby is gonna be??.....and at how many months do u start sowing?? is it true that u loose ur hair? is there any type of food u cant eat besides fish? can u go out jogging slow? n what is the fastest way to loose weight afetr it is born? n at how many months do ur nipples start leaking milk...n is it bad for ur man to suck on them?? please answer all of them? sorry for asking so many

I have intercourse with my husband a couple of times a week and have not used birthcontrol in a couple years. My husband had an injury which caused a hernia and had to have surgery to pull one testi back down. Could this be the propblem?My husband is also over weight do you think this could be a factor?

I had a baby 10 months ago. Within the past 2 month everytime I take a bath water goes into my vagina. When I sit up it gushes out. What would cause it and is there anything I can do to stop it from happening other than taking a shower?

I recently noticed that a friend of mine was feeding her 6 week old infant rice cereal with bananas.

Upon approaching her about the idioicy of it, she explain to me that her doctor advised her to give her son rice cereal with bananas.

Is there ANY sense here?! She approached her doctor and he explain that it would help her son sleep through the night.

I'm look for some SANE mothers who have an opinion on this, because I'm blown away by the idiocy of it.

Okay... why i think this? oh well... last time i had sex was on september... i had sex everyday for a week... on wednesday i took an after-day pills (just this time cuz i didn't use condom, but all the other days i did) So... and at that same day i got an urinal infection.... i went to the hospital and my p-p was red! but i got a prescription for it and i went to emergency (the doc said it was bc of lack of water and unhealthy feeding ) sooo like 2 weeks after that i got little bleeding (it wasn't like period) but i think it's kinda "weird" this had happened to me when like 3 weeks before this happened i had my normal period. Nowadays, i went to the doc and he said i wasn't pregnant. but then... how come im dieting super straigh about and i look "fatter"?? not just that... im exercising too, i tend to feel tired and exhausted ..... not just that... but what i only see fat is my belly....

what this can be? the curiosity is makin me anxious and crazy about it!

Okay...so I am really upset about this as you can tell. I am 19 weeks pregnant tomorrow and weigh 149. I started out at 130...I was 9 weeks pregnant at that time, so that means in 10 weeks I have gained almost 20 pounds. Most of it is belly and boobs...but dear God. I did an online weight gain thing based on my weight and it said that I should gain 29.96 pounds. Ummm...that would mean in the next four months I would only gain 10 pounds!!! I dont know what to do. I walk a few times a week...but now the holidays are coming up. I am freaking out. Please help me....

the first day of my last period was on april7th....my cycles are very regular and normal every 28days......and the last month i had sex with my boyfriend was in april, ....more than once after my period ends....they were all unprotected sex,never once did use condoms....anyway we broke up on may 1st.....and i slept with someone else on may 2nd.....my next period should be on may 5th....but did'nt come......i took a home pregncy test onmay10th in the late afternoon which came back positive immediately with a very dark line....on my ultrasound and belly measurement im measuring right on dates.....me and the other guy used a condom.....im now almost 33weeks pregnant .....and my due date is january 11th.....there's no chance the other guy could posibly be the father of my baby....i told my boyfriend to have a paternity test done when our baby is born.....he says he'll just look at the baby and tell if its his....what do u guys think.

My daughter is 12 weeks old and still sleeping in her moses bsket. My son is 20 months old and sleeps in a cot so instead of getting another cot for her we are thinking of getting him a bed. Should we get her a new mattress? His mattress is in perfect condition and the cover is removable so it can be washed.

I took the plan b pill on Ocotber 16th. Two weeks after I took the pill, I was experiencing brown discharge, then I think I got my period, but it only lasted for about 4 days. I took a pregnancy test at a clinic weeks ago, and it came out negative. I took another Pregnancy last week wednesday and it came out negative. My breast been feeling a little sore. I also feel little cramps in my stomach, and gassy and it feels weird. I took some pepto bismol yesterday morning to see if that helps. Am I supposed to be expecting a period this week? or is it just going to come next month? or what do you think is the problem????? IS FREQUENT URINATION A SIGN OF MY PERIOD COMING??
