I like your mom's better, but try The Night Before Christmas. It's a classic as well and has Santa and the elves. Best of luck! I want to do the same for my kids, with traditions and all.

My mom always used to read Twas the Night Before Christmas...or How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
Hmmm...Santa and the Elves...I don't know of any right off the top of my head, but if I think of any later...I'll be sure to come back!

The gift of the Magi by O. Henri is a good one with a great message. The story of the three wise men and the birth of Christ is always a must and you don't even have to read it. DO it like story time and let the kids help. The little drummer boy.

that's extremely dazzling which you have an activity in coaching your toddlers the genuine which capacity of Christmas. There are all forms of books available looking on your toddlers's age as to what's suitable. might I propose taking them to a Christmas play at a community church? the toddlers might get to hearken to genuine which capacity of Christmas and enjoy a dazzling day trip too.

There are a lot of Christmas/Holiday stories. You can even get a story that features their favorite characters!!! I think that reading period is a great tradition (don't forget cookies/milk for santa and carrots for reindeer).
