hey guys! my body is confusing me this month. first of all i ovulated at the beginning of this month and i had protected sex at that time, too! however, my body felt different. my breasts were sore and a week or so later i was throwing up, had bad headaches and nausea all day. i still have the nausea today! my period was due on the 19th, but i got it on the 20th! i usually suffer from pms, but its usually mood swings and cramps nothing like what i experienced. i know the bleeding i'm having is not implantation, but my regular period as its moderately heavy! i have all the pregnancy symptoms except with my period. is it possible to still have regular periods and be pregnant? if not what are these symptoms

I would be willing to bet that you had what is called a "chemical pregnancy". The egg gets fertilized but something is wrong, so it doesn't implant...it's not viable. The classic signs of this are to have the early pregnancy symptoms (sore breasts, nausea, etc) and to be a day or so late...but then have a normal or heavier than normal period.
It IS possible to have your period and be pregnant, but the period will be a LOT lighter than usual and not last very long. If you are worried, take a test.

As to your symptoms I don't know....but I do know that yes, you can still get your period and be pregnant. Some women have their 'period' almost all through pregnancy.....It's not a true menstruation, it's actually called 'spotting' but sometimes there can be enough blood to seem as if you are actually having a period. I suggest going
straight to the OBGYN to find out what's up.

Yes, you can in the first weeks of a pregnancy. After that, it could be a miscarriage. If you know you are pregnant and bleeding, get to a Dr. Anyway, you need to make an appt. with a GYN Dr. for a good checkup.

well just one time in the beging, ithought oh i'm pregnent but i got my period and it was light and only lasted 3 days which i thought was wierd (usualy 6 days and heavy) but needless to say i didn't have one for a while after that! so yeah but just once it has something to do with egg setteling inside you and that usually only happens with your first but take a test just to be sure and then if you bleed later then go to the doctor to find out whats going on

It is not possible to be pregnant and having a heavy period at the same time.
If this condition continue for the next few days, seek medical advice!

Yes, you can still get "spotting," while pregnant which can make you think you are having your period. It is best to take a home pregnancy test and/or go to the gyno.

You arent pregnant dont worry. Very light bleeding is often mis-judged to be a peroid.. But if you were one day late on your peroid it is okay. You are probally just freaking yourself out..
