How to cope with failure (he just found out yesterday that he didn't make the school basketball team and he's crushed)

How to be tolerant (I struggle with it a lot but still try to teach him to be respectful of the beliefs of others)

How to reserve judgement (I would like him to realize that there are two (or more) sides to every story and to make sure before he makes a decision about someone that he knows the whole story)

How to enjoy learning (right now he hates learning, I on the other hand love it. I'm sure it has everything to do with age but I want him to know that you never stop learning and growing).

How to love with all his heart (as he is loved)

There are numerous documented benefits and advantages of teaching children to read early on, and teaching them to reading using phonics and phonemic awareness instructions. It is clear that early language and reading ability development passes great benefits to the child as they progress through school at all grades, and that early language and reading problems can lead to learning problems later on in school.

I want to teach my children that all people are equal and that they are not better than anyone else regardless of their race, religion, upbringing, socio-economic status or anything else. We are the human race and should behave as such.

I want my kids to be their own person.. but I want them to know what's right and wrong
I want to teach them honesty, being nice to others, sharing, helping, and patience.
