Pregnancy & Parenting - 2 November 2006

Last period started September 1st. My previous 2 cycles were 33 days and 34 days. I am trying to figure out when we conceived. I did a pregnancy test on Oct 8 that was negative (but may have been a false negative) and another one on Oct 13 that came out positive. The kind of pregnancy tests I used say "over 99% accurate when used from 1st day of expected period" and "test as early as 4 days before your expected period". I don't really want to go for an ultrasound, but would like to be able to figure out my estimated due date.

I have a 4 year old son who does not want to eat anything I cook. All he wants to eat is hotdogs. He also wants me to lay down with him in his bed every night so he can go to sleep. Also, he yells and does not listen. I just do not know what to do anymore. Nothing works on him. He is too hard headed and nothing phases him. HELP PLEASE.

I got my peirod Oct16. it lasted for the regular 5 days. Me and my girlfriend had a 3 some with a guy. We did not use protection. He came in her but then had sex with me afterwards but did not come. Can i stll get pregnant?

Because her brother already had gotten them, the doctor said she did not need to be seen when she came down with the illness. Now he refuses to write a note to the school saying this and she is going to be kicked out of school in two weeks if she is not vaccinated. A blood test would prove that she has had it, but the child has no health insurance and the parent cannot afford to have the blood test done.

One of the nurses in the hospital 2 weeks ago when my daughter was born asked me, "who put her in there like that!?" My husband had put my daughter backward in her little nursery bed, you know that plastic & metal one on wheels? I said, "my husband did, why!?" She said it means we'll be back there in one year, meaning we'll be having another baby this time next year. That made our day, of course!! Even if it's just a myth. Have you heard that? What do you think?

I have a 3 1/2 year old son who I love dearly. However, disciplining him has become quite an issue. He has a terrible temper and when I get onto him, often says stuff like, "fine, I will just kick this wall" and he does. I have tried everything imaginable. From time outs to positive reinforcement to my last resort, spanking and nothing appears to work. It is not that he is a bad kid at all. He is just very independant and strong. I do not want to quash that, but want to nurture it into developing in a positive way and not a negative way. Any suggestions?

im 5 months :says' " my doctor but my belly is getting alot bigger! i look like im 7-8 months . i have alot if pelvic pains like popping of my bones .and a hard time getting up out of bed i get plenty of exercie i go walking i have a 2yr old and a nine month old so im always about and i eat right. i dont know ..it seems my belly gets bigger every day and now its farther than my boobs..could i be more than five months..?

It all started on sunday with this green mucusy fluid coming out of my sons ear. So monday morning I went to the doctor and he said there was nothing in his ear and that I must have been mistaken and that he does not have an ear infection. So I take him the next day to Daycare and when I go to retrive him they tell my that there was fluids coming out of his ear again. They say that he is not to come back without a written letter from his doctor. so I call the doctor and he comes to my house to see my son and he say its fine and there is no infection.
I have see an ear leak like this. Its greenish and looks nasal mucus. I'm afraid that he is going to loss his hearing if it continues. please ease my mind and give me your apinion.
