i have 2 children and they went to the bathroom on their own. i could not force them. when they were ready that was it. they just went potty on their own. try rewards when they do use the potty

I do childcare for about 15 4 & 5 year olds. Sometimes if they are having too much fun they wont go because they think they
are going to miss something.
Of course, if your child just WON'T go......... I would suggest seeing a Doctor maybe there is something wrong. At 4 they dont necessarily know how to tell you when they dont feel good.

no need to force the child.it takes some time to understand these habits.be patient.but keep talking to him,about the clean habits.
