The right number of kids to have is the number of kids that you feel comfortable having and can afford to have.

It depends, I was 1/5,my dad is 1/3 my mom is 1/14 my sister has 3 my brother has 1 i have 4 . When i was 7yrs. old we moved from San Diego Calif. to Wimer Oregon(2 1/2 miles up a dirt road) There was a family with 8 kids across the street, I don't know if i adopted them or they adopted me or maybe they just figured i was one of them, but even to this day,33yrs. later, i envy those kids. their parents loved them so very much!! (Mine were alcoholics) they butchered chickens and pigs, harvested garden and milked the cows , that was how they survived!! I would of traded in a second the money/background/education of my dad to be noticed and loved as those kids were. Money isn't or shouldn't be a deciding factor~~LOVE IS!!!

2 or 4 at a push. No odd numbers, I don't like the idea of some innocent person being branded the middle child!

Whatever you can manage financially and time wise. I have 3 boys and the 2 oldest do sports and then there's the baby and then the older 2 have school. So time wise I think is more important - making sure you have enough time for each of them.

Well the ? is how many can you afford?? I am stopping at 3 simply because it is getting really expensive to raise children, and if you have a good income they you won't qualify for any assistance.. I want time for myself and try to go back to school before it is to late for me.. So I can tell you that I would say 3 from my own personal exp.

165...go for the world record

Actually I think 1 or 2 kids are best.

To raise a kid, and fully take care of all the child's needs it costs around 250,000 dollars.

To spoil a child like crazy, send them to private school, get them into college at 16 it costs more like half a million.
