I was dialated .5 centimeters and I live in Puerto Rico. But my pregnancy was high risk, so I don't know if that had something to do with it or not.

ok you rather need to call your OB/GYN and tell them your dilated and ask what you're able to do. There are distinctive stages of work. the only you look having now's early labor, the place you have gentle contractions and additionally you many times replace into dilated as much as approximately 3 centimeters. some women persons stay at domicile for early labor. if your no longer in a intense risk being pregnant and your wellness care professional says its ok, then you definately could be waiting to stay at domicile for this area. you would be able to desire to bypass to the scientific institution whilst the contractions replace into better and nearer at the same time, or if your greater then 3 centimeters dilated. if your water breaks, if there is bleeding, in case you have 4 or greater contractions an hour or if there's a significant replace interior the toddler's stream then you definately could bypass to the scientific institution as quickly as a possibility! in certainty, you're able to bypass besides just to get checked up, so they'd video show the toddler to verify if its ok. they'd launch you if each thing seems ok and inform you to come again lower back in some hours or so. no remember what you do, communicate on your OB/GYN and tell them how some distance aside your contractions are. stable success! do no longer overlook to breath!

my first pregnancy I wasn't dilated at all and was admitted and induced 4 times before I actually had the baby and with my second I was 2 cm and still had to be admitted and induced but this time only once. It depends more on the doctor's preferences than it does the state, but I live in Pa just so you know.

I live in Texas and have had two children. With both of them, I was induced and admitted to the hospital BEFORE I began labor. I was dialated to a 1 both times for about 3 weeks before I went into the hospital. Your doctor should advise you when you are ready to be admitted. AND if you are close, they'll admit you whether you are dialated or not.
