My little girl asked me this question, and my immediate reaction was to say "No." We as moms sometimes get tired of saying that word throughout the day, so I let my imagination have fun and told her we would watch them and see.

I am a mother that tries to stay within her own business, i like to talk to the girls, and i perfer to have them come to me and ask things, then ask someone who might not know.
Ive known this girl Jamie, for six years, and she is almost fourteen, she fears she might be pregnant, and does not want to take a test until she knows a little more, well, im not
a doctor and really cant say much about pregnancy due to the fact that my children were both premature, she wants to know the following,
-What do pregnant stomachs feel like
-Some symptoms teens will have
-The chances of her being pregnant if he pulled out, and she was on her period
-If pregnant women get white discharge regularly

I'm serious. We are trying to potty train him but it's just not working. He is our second child and we didn't have any trouble with our first like this.

He knows the poo and pee go in the potty--he even says so! But he will not go in it! He flips out when we try to force him on it when he's peeing, he cries and screams and contorts his body...
I'm getting fed up, he just peed on my shoes like a dog, he has his spots where he hides, he takes his diaper or pullup off and poops and pees under a table, in a closet, in a corner..etc.
It won't work clothing him, because he is consistantly taking his cloths off! Then he runs around the house and poops or pees in a corner! I am busy cleaning the house and doing other things, I just can't keep up with this and my house is starting to smell like a kennel..
HEEEELP!!!!

Who might have ADHD. I've never been around any adult or children with it and don't even know if it could be diagnosed in a child who is about to turn 3. But a little boy I have been babysitting now for 4 weeks cannot follow the simplest directions, cannot sit still, cannot stay on task, and feels he must be moving every second he is awake. I have 2 small kids of my own plus I also babysit his 7 month old brother and a 16 month old boy. If I tell him to go get the diaper bag over there on the table (pointing to it) he spins around the room in circles as if he doesn't know what a table or a diaper bag is. If I tell him to please stop running around the room, ramming a toy into the wall or sit still he will stop but as soon as I turn my back he's doing the same thing again. I have tried activity time on the floor with him but nothing keeps his attention for more than 15 seconds. He constantly is on the move and it's getting difficult to handle him when I have to tell him...

I have recently stopped taking my birth control in hopes of getting pregnant but a big concern I have is that I am about 60lbs overweight. I am trying to lose weight before becoming pregnant but since there is no birth control methods being used I may not reach my goal before then.

i am 14 weeks and i have suffered blows to the lower abdomen and a heavy object on my stomach. i went to the doctor to see if everything was ok, and they told me that they still had a heart beat. well i i just really wanna know if my baby is ok, and where are the babies usually located (in the tummy) at this point. I ask because i have a feeling that my baby is not near the lower part of my stomach. is this possible?

this is so confusing. i just want it to be over already. I was supposed to get my "friend" on the 30th. I had sex a day b4 ovulation. my cervix isnt low and hard like normal b4 a period. i have no cramps. and my breasts have just started to hurt. i usually get that b4 my period. a few days ago, i had a light pink thick discharge when i wiped, but after that nothing. i havent thrown up, and i dont feel very tired. i took a hpt yesterday and it came up -. whats goin on? this ever happen to ne 1?

My sister is the worst 'gagger' in the world (Ie she'll smell that the milk is off and wrech with a horrible AGH! noise). She has just had a baby and I was thinking to buy her a mask to wear while she changes nappies. Some friends/family have said this is not a good idea as it may frighten her child, but he's only a month old and I don't think he'll notice at all - any one got any ideas? Is there a dust-mask / scarf device commercially available for this? (Please don't suggest a darth vader mask, I've heard it from everyone!)

I'm going back to work in a week after being home for five and a half years-hoorah-great job, excellent pay, found an A-one daycare for my 3.5 year old, found an afterschool nanny for 6 year old and 8 year old-should be home by 5:30 each night to make dinner etc. Husband is doing the AM school kid drop off. Still, I'm just trying to shake the inner angst. Any coping suggestions?

hello ladies, just though i shared my sadness with all of you. I had spotted 3 weeks ago, that made me think i was pregnant...well my period came 4 days late to my surprise, my period stopped today, so i did an Ept pregnancy test this morning--and came out neg. the thing that is bothering me is that i can't stopped yawning and feeling tired.
