Hi Honey,
You need to tell your Mom as soon as you find out thats when! Hopefully, you are less than 12 weeks pregnant so if you need to look at options its not too late for a safe termination. I am not saying you should have an abortion, I am just saying to have a termination after 12 week is very very dangerous so you must tell Mom as soon as possible, like now. Like I have said before on these pages, Your Mom is your best friend no matter what, She will be angry upset and disappointed but all Moms love their kids especially their little girls. They are always there for you in good times and bad. Give her a chance to see you through this, you wont regret telling her. Blessings from Aussie Mom

i am assuming that you are young? Unmarried? Keeping the child? If that is the case tell your mom soon, even if that is not the situation still tell your mom. you need support and medical attention. She will get over the shock. It may take her some time but she will. You need to make some decisions for yourself before you are pressured into making choices that you don't want. but all in all better tell her sooner vs. later. you need help that only an adult can give you. Seek medical attention. teen pregnancies are at a higher risk. or if abortion is an option you don't want to wait too long. Adoption is a great way to secure a good loving home for your child and help you with medical bills. good luck and congratulations

It depends, I know someone who was in the same situation. First of all it depends whether you want the baby, and whether you can support yourself financially once it is born. If you don't or can't, then tell your mum before it's to late to be forced to go through with things alone. If you do desperately want the baby and can support yourself, then tell your mum after the period of time allowed after an abortion, but before you start showing. This might seem a little harsh, but it will make your mum accept things faster if it will come as a shock, as there is nothing that can be done about it, so she won't try to persuade you to terminate. Be prepared, show scans and be confident. After all this is still your mum's grandchild.

I would tell her if you at all can. I was scared to tell my mom I was pregnant - I was 18, still living at home, and engaged to be married when I found out. My mom and I never had a close relationship, so telling her was just like an FYI (or so it seemed to me). Well shortly after, I started having morning sickness, and my mom was able to help me, offer tips, and understand what I was going through (she had 4 children). I never regretted telling my parents when I did. :)

Well as soon as you find out if you are close to her, if she more of a dsitant mum then wait till you're 12 weeks to be sure that the baby is there to stay

It's best to tell her as soon as possible. Give her enough time to accept she's going to be a grandma.

I would tell your mom NOW! I mean, you don't want her to find out when you start showing do you?

right away, so that way she isnt angry if and when the baby is born. you, your mother and the baby, need to have a relationship through a critical time like this.
