Babies get plenty of water with their formula. I always used the bottled nursery water. Better safe than sorry.

Well if you are breastfeeding there is no need until they start solids at around 6 months, if you are bottle feeding then in hot weather you should give cool boiled water, tap will do. Don't worry about flouride too much its not that important

I always used filtered drinking water I bought in the store. I dont really trust the flouride. Yes it is good for their teeth but to drink it??? I mean we don't swallow our toothpaste! Too much flouride can be a bad thing.
And I know at first babies get enough water with their formula. When they start solids they can have a little bit of water.

well at the store they have water already with flouride in the baby section, that would be ur best bet u could probably give like 4 oz. a day at i think 3-5 mos. but ask ur dr. (obviously) for more accurate time frame! but i was also told they have enough water in their formula so if it's hot and limit the amount!

My daughter did not commence having water till she began eating toddler nutrients. Even then, she doesn't quite have that a lot water. she will be able to refuse to drink the water if I placed it in a bottle, so i have been putting about an oz. of water right into a touch sippy cup. Like I suggested, she in basic terms has water even as she's eating her toddler nutrients, and he or she in basic terms eats toddler nutrients two times an afternoon. She also in a lot of situations has a three or 4 ounce bottle after she's finished eating her toddler nutrients. something of the feedings are formulation.

My baby is 3 months old and I called her pediatrician yesterday to ask if I could give her water. They told me that as long as it isn't interfering with her feeding, that I can give her 2-4 ounces a day. You don't need to buy any special water. Just boil some tap water and cool it in the fridge.

They give babies nursery water in the hospital between feedings
then when you take the baby home you can boil water and give it to the baby I used to put a dot of sugar on the nipple so it would be more inviting for the infant

For the first year of life the baby only needs breastmilk or formula.
There is no need to give water. My Ped highly discouraged this.
You can dehydrate your baby.
We introduced juice (only 4oz a day which was watered down to half and half. Two oz of juice and two oz of water) around 9 months.
Only once a day (usually after the pm nap).
