Pregnancy & Parenting - 27 October 2006

I took a HPT two days after I missed my period, but now I am a week and a couple days past. No sign of a period and I had sex with my husband last night which would normally start my period if it was close. None all day! So how soon should I try and take another test?? My app. is on the 10th. Thanks!!

We have 2 beautiful children - we got pregnant with our daughter no problem, and our son we weren't really trying or trying not to. This time around, though, we seem to be having a lot of problems. I'm overweight, but was when we conceived our son... more than anything I'm frustrated to the point of tears! Any suggestions?

i'm really trying to get pregnant here and i read somewhere online that when both partners orgasm, the female body holds on to 15%-90% of the sperm but if the female doesn't orgasm then her body will only hold on to 0%-15%.... is this acurate or what??? or do both of us have to come at the same time????

My mom's house has gotten broken into at least 4 times!!! Guess thanks to who? My little sister, an *** hole . SHe threw parties when mom was not home. 200 people would come and go within the house. THe entire house is a mess, everything stolen. many people have been in and out of the house. Mom is devasted. We just lost dad, we lost grand pa on mom's side. Mom struggling financialy and emotionaly. I dont know what to say or do. We all don't know what to do. THe cops even catched some burglars within the house but yet they released them. Like what the FV#%!

I wish we could get her *** locked in jail for good. Heck i dont even know if we can get her locked up! I just want my mom and my family to feel safe again, I just want her out of the picture for good.

I lost my daughter on 3months ago, I was 8 months - I felt weird - sorta like real bad labor pains - I was rushed to the hospital and they could not find her heartbeat. It was later confirm that I had a placenta abrution. I kept her with me for two days and sent her on to the funeral home - to be prepared for her burial. I miss her so much - I have really bad panic attacks - Not to mention I got in a head on collision the day of her funeral - almost missed it.
HELP - How do I deal with the pain?
Also, me and her dad recently broke uo after 2 yrs - so I have to deal with that as well.

I should know what is normal by now but I always let the worry get to me. im about 7 weeks now. should I be cramping so much? i dont remeber cramping as much with my last 2 babies. I have even tried drinking water and it doesnt seem to be subsiding. the cramps arent unbearable but they are starting to get old.

him or when he moves or tries to stand up. should i go to the doctor now or is it normal.

also since he was a baby his jaw would crack when he puts it on my shoulder. i never told the doctor, i never thought its bad and then when i went i forgot to tell him. what is it anyway?
so do you think those are normal things or should i report it to the doctor immediately

I was just wondering after hearing how much a friends baby weighed at birth, 8.5 lbs, is there a certain weight or weight range that doctors want babies to weigh at birth? I think I was 5 lbs 10 oz. at birth, and I was the smallest of my siblings. But my cousins have all been in the 7lb or 8lb range. So, is there an ideal range that doctors hope babies fall within or is it all dependent on the baby? I don't think I'm wording this very well, but I can't think of any other way to put it. Oh, also, is the babies weight at birth soley the result of what you ate during pregnancy or are their multiple factors that account for how much a baby weighs? Thanks. :)

Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to become pregnant in the 8 weeks after delivering a baby. I have always not had a period return for months so I don't want to use protection but should I right after this soon. Also, my doctor oked sex after 4 weeks for me. Thank you so much !
