ok i heard if you took a test and it was positive for pregnancy, and you are one of the few who then starts to bled like a "period" for several months that you are pregnant, i heard that if you try a test while youre bleeding, it will come out negative no matter what because of the blood. And i am wondering how long you have to wait to test again for a positive? Any experience this, or know what this could possibly be??

Its almost a year now, since my son died, He was 18 years old and involved in a car accident. It took 27 days in intensive care for his body to finally give up. First he had his splean removed, then his whole intestines, finally when they removed his stomach, his body gave up. He wasnt even driving, he was a sober pasenger in a car with a sober driver. and he had his seat belt on (this is what caused the dammage), The dirver only had a sprained wrist. The other 2 pasengers escaped totally un harmed.. HOW IS THIS RIGHT??? Im trying to continue with life but i feel no purpose. I have another son (aged 17), but he is really indipendant and copes with 'his stuff, his way' I have no partner, or anyone i could call a close friend as I don't mix with people well. Both my parents have also died (in the last 12 months), so no help there.,
(most other family a waste of time) Anyone in a position to help, I don't know where to turn.

We need help! Suddenly this past week our son has decided he doesn't want to sleep at night and screams when we put him in his crib to sleep! Before this we would give him a bottle around 8 then do "jammies on" and sing a little song, change his diaper and he knew to settle down and we'd put him in his crib and he'd roll over and go to sleep with his sleepy time teddy. In the past 5 days he's suddenly decided he doesn't want to sleep in his crib and will
scream when we put him in there and continue to scream for about 30 minutes. If we go in and check him he will get very happy and want out then we will try to soothe him by patting him and sometimes picking him up - sometimes he will come back out with us for a bout 20 minutes, in which time he will fall asleep or rub his eyes and try to bury his head in our armpits or chests - then we'll try to gently return him to his crib and he'll wake up and we'll do this all over again.

i am 6 to 7 weeks pregnant i have been for a few internal scans because of bleeding and to check how many babies there were i asked the doctor about the bleeding and he could not find anything wrong i keep getting cramps and im bleeding again has any one else had this problem i dont want to ask my doctor again as i know what he will say but i really worried as its started again

Baby's can distinguish their mother's voice from others when it's inside the womb. I have a pretty soft voice & I'm scared my baby won't "know" me because it can't hear me.

My best friend found out she's preganant after MANY years of trying. She's now offically CRAZY about everything baby. I have kids and kinda been there done that. Its ALL she wants to talk about. I am so happy for her but I know that this BABY TALK all the time will drive me nuts. I understand that she's super excited and she deserves it after so many people around her have been pregnant while she watched. Anyone else deal with this?

My son has been getting constipated almost everyday. It's started since he began table foods. I have started giving him prune juice and plum smart juice, but it doesn't help loosen it right away. I think the finger foods and table foods are too much for him right now. I'm going to switch back to purreeed baby food for a while. What other foods will help with the constipation? He just had a bad bowel movement that was so hard it tore him a little.

my son benjamin (we orgianlly spell it benjamynn) is five months old. i'm new to this whole parenting stuff. should my son have teeth yet? it looks like he is starting to grow front teeth because he is always rubbing there and after he does he cries. you can kind of see the teeth starting to grow. should he be growing teeth already or should he have started growing them earlier?

All of these people on here asking for ways to make themselves have a miscarriage, am I wrong that it is just as bad as having an abortion? Do these people, who I don't think are just teens, realize that their are consequences to having sex? Don't they still have sex education in school? And if parents don't want to talk to their kids about sex and what happens if you have it, why aren't they learning it in school? I mean NO ONE can be this stupid, it is common sense that if you have sex you could get pregnant, Right?
