ok i heard if you took a test and it was positive for pregnancy, and you are one of the few who then starts to bled like a "period" for several months that you are pregnant, i heard that if you try a test while youre bleeding, it will come out negative no matter what because of the blood. And i am wondering how long you have to wait to test again for a positive? Any experience this, or know what this could possibly be??

i wouldn't think that the blood would make a difference since a pregnancy test checks the pregnancy hormone. When you get knocked up your body releases this hormone and it gets stronger the further along you are, hence why you can't take a test right away (it's not strong enough yet). To be sure though i would call the number on the pregnancy test box, they could tell you for sure.

*you can definately bleed during pregnacy and it not be a problem, i did with my first. Although any bleeding or spotting should be checked by a docter.

If you take a test and it i positive and you start to bleed you need to go to the ER. You may be having a miscarriage. If the test comes out positive after the bleeding stops your HCG levels have not returned to normal.

contrary to popular belief you can bleed and be prego. My mother in law did that with my husband for the first three months she was prego with him and she didn't know she was prego. there are plenty of situations out there where people bleed the entire time they are with baby.

Good Luck cuz you could be.
