I have a little son age 3 and he still likes to wear his nappies and use them to wee and poo in.

I have tried using pull up pants but he doesnt like them and keeps wanting to be put in a proper disposeable nappy that he has to lie down for and be changed and cleaned and nappy taped to him.

i am wanting to potty train him so he does his wees and poos in a potty but doesnt seem to want to learn.

He would rather use a nappy to do his wees and poos in.

I have tried to put him on potty but he's not having any of it.

He wants to use his nappies!!!!

Someone suggested putting a nappy in the potty so when he wees and poos he still offically wets and dirties the nappies even though he's not actually wearing them.

He still likes to wear nappies at nightime but i am wanting him to use potty during the day at least and wear nappies just at night.

What can i do??

Once you feel the baby move will you feel it daily? Is it normal to feel movement onlt once a day at 18 weeks?

Okay here is my question: Should I take a pregnancy test now? I have noticed for the past 2 days that I have some spotting of a light pinkish color and sometimes a brownish color. My period is not sue for at least another week. Should I take a test now or wait and see if I miss my period?

We fooled around about 5-7 days ago, although there was no peneteration involved. Now she's having some spotting and some cramps in her abdomen that she noticed on Sunday (1 day ago). She's told me that she's never experienced this before and that she's on day 11 or in the middle of her cycle. From my research, it's too early to have a pregnancy test done. Does this mean that she can be pregnant?

My gf is not on any form of birth control or any medication that I'm aware of. Also this may have occured when the pre ejaculate was transfered to the vagina via her hands or mine through groping or maybe some other way. I did not ejaculate but there were times when the pre-ejaculate was present when we fooled around.

We're both young and very scared. Please help.

My boyfriends nephew came to live with us about 4 months ago and its been a roller coaster. It started with back talking and now its lying. He lies about everything. He has had alot go on in his life( his mom is incarcerated adn his dad lives out of state very little contact) he lived with his grandparents basically his whole life til now and he got away w everything. He will mess in his inderwear atleast 3 times aweek and hide them under his dresser, lies about what homework he has. when its supper time he will come up with every excuse on why he dont want to eat. he used to be on ridelin b4 he moved with us we took him off we dont see why he should take it. He isnt a bad kid. his teacher loves him. I know alot of it has to do with living with us( his uncle is gone alot he is oncall) but i would like some advice on how to handle this. I have been told alot to spank him but i dont feel its my place and i dont believe in that. I dont spank my kids. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Has anyone else suffered from this? I been diagnosed with it this afternoon and I'm not allowed anything apart from paracetomol its killing me, luckly I only have it in one wrist at the moment but doc said it will possibly spread to the other as it another one of those side effects of pregnancy.

my daughter is now 4 years old. and i know she is still in the dependecy stage but recently she has been acting a little too attached. she has a need to always be touching me and she insists on sleeping in my room.. this is nice but it becomes an issue when me and my husband want our privacy.If i go to the bathroom she will bang until i let her in . It doesnt matter what I'm doing. If im in my room she has to see me or else she goes bazirk. I dont know what to do because it can get frustrating at times..can anyone help?

i can't bend over to tie my shoes without smashing the baby, i can't ever get comfortable at night. i had to give up smoking and drinking. and now i caught his cold, have a canker sore and a hemorrhoid!

i know, i know this is part of the "miracle" of having kids but this isn't feeling like a miracle at the moment. shouldn't he have to feel this misery too?

Thank you all so much for trying to help me make sense of this. I am not on any medication. My doc says the preg test could be wrong. I got a second opinion and feel like I am just being fobbed off all the time and told to "wait and see". I'm fed up! Surely if I'm not pregnant I will bleed?! I've never missed a period in my life and so this is very unusual for me - did a test today and it was neg. I'm getting shooting pain in my breasts the last few days as well. I keep thinking I'm not preg then I wake and feel so sick and then think I am again - it's crazy. I don't understand why it wouldn't show on a preg test if I was. Very strange - but many thanks to you all for your support!

Hello~
I am pregnant with our 2nd son, Cody who is due, Jan. 25th. We have a wonderful but, active son Jason who is 3. My husband & I have been married for over 5 years.
To make a long story short. When my son, Jason was 6 weeks old my Mom-in-law left him outside a store by himself in his stroller. And the next day she told me that if I allow him to he can take care of himself. And that He didn't need me and she didn't do anything wrong by leaving him outside the store, she didn't see the need to bring him in. It was "to much trouble" to do that! And that she can do what she wants with him. Any way I don't trust her with him or with Cody when he is born. She know that she is not allowed to be alone with him or anyother child. But she still begs to take him on overnight trips or to have him alone with her. I keep on telling her no.
When we told my inlaws that we were pregnant again ( Cody was a nice surprise) My inlaws told me to get an abortion!

My son is teething and I was trying to find something that will help him with the pain. The teething tablets and the Tylonel are fine, but only lasted about 3 to 4 hours. Well, I decided to give him a Playtex pacifier that is made for teethers and now he is addicted to it. The problem that I have with it is that I have to get up every two hours and put the pacifier in his mouth. I don't think that he his getting the good sleep he needs. When I take it away from him, he cries and I can't have him cry too much, because I live in a one bedroom apartment. What should I do? I really don't mind if he has the pacifer, I just with that I could get him to sleep better.
