i don't want to worry you but yes you could get pregnant with the coil, its like most other contraceptives, none of them are 100%, there is always a risk, but however it is very slim that you will fall pregnant, i had a coil fitted for 9yrs, and recently had it taken out, and wooohooo it worked i didn't fall pregnant. so if you are really worried i would advice you to go back to ur GP and ask that they check it for you, to reassure you that everything is ok with it.

You can but it's a minimal risk! The Mirena is much more effective at preventing pregnancy than copper coils and avoids many of the unwanted effects of other coils and hormonal forms of contraception (oral contraceptives, injections). If 1,000 women used the Mirena for a year, only one would become pregnant. This compares with about ten for the copper IUCD, 20 for the Pill and 10-15 for the contraceptive injection.

You certainly can - I have a few friends who have gotten pregnant while having the coil fitted. I was told along time ago that its one of the least reliable forms of contraception. If in doubt get tested coz you'll need to get the coil out ASAP.

The chance of pregnancy on it is that of a woman who has had surgery only diffrence is Mirena is reversable. Chances of expelling it are 10 out of 100 in the 1st year if you have had it in place 3 years chances are its not going anywhere.

Women used to get pregnant on the IUD back in the 80's and early 90's but its very rare now adays. So alot of the Pregnancies on IUD where from back in the day

You should start by not wanting to get pregnant, just have sex everyday or every other day and don't think about getting pregnant, just have fun with your partner. Get more useful information and guides to get pregnant here https://tr.im/hvtx8
after sex-put a pillow under your butt or prop your feet up on the wall so your pelvis is tilted
eat healthy
back off caffiene
workout, even if its just a 20 minute walk a day, be active.

Yes I think you are right. I think, although it is not usually very possible, if it shifts it may not be protecting all you want it too. If you're worried phone your doctor or go to boots and ask for a private consultation during your lunch hour! The risks are very slim anyway, about 1%, so it may increase it to 4%-5% but check with someone who deals regularly with this sort of thing.
